Making a sheath for my latest stone dagger
This video shows you what is involved when I try to capture the essence of the Stone Age creating a sheath to harness one of my stone daggers.

There is no such thing as "too boring to watch". This is how our ancestors survived. These long form videos are great, keep making them. Thank you.

Arkansas - Ar- can- saw is how to pronounce my home state. It’s a Cado word means downstream people. The novaculite comes from the Ouchita Mountains which is part of the Ozark Mountain Range.

I don't usually mind the slower pace of these type of videos. It gives a better appreciation for the amount of skill and effort that goes into such projects.

I.ve never found any of your videos to be boring, you always describe what you are doing very well, and I always find them very interesting. Thank you for doing a great job 👍
Mr. Lord, On behalf of the native Americans and the prehistoric people, I congratulate you on precision craftsmanship. You truly are a unique human being.
Really clever, amazing stuff. Thanks for taking us on a journey into the past. Keeping prehistoric knowledge alive 👏 👏 AND it was DEFINITELY not boring.

This channel is everything I love. All that you do is always done so primitive and perfect I really appreciate that. Thanks for the awesomeness you are.
Damn, Will... this was anything but boring! I was memorized by your own applied skill and concurrent revelations of the efficiencies of ancient skillsets, and the effectiveness of the technologies, and the materials usefulness all magically brought back to life for us all to witness!!! Just WOWZ, and thank you for this journey back in time!!! I was just thinking about you and wonderind why I hadn't gotten any new notifications - I was just getting ready to check your channel listing! BTW: The knife and sheath are just _stunning,_ for real!

Love your videos Will ; the youtube algorithm is not predictable at all - it truly is not your fault if you get sudden bursts of interest then a low period of attention for some time. Of course shorter snappy videos will get a more guaranteed higher view count but overall It signals to me that youtube is artificially promoting and de-promoting recommended videos to users on a whim etc. 100K subscribers and other channels of similar size I see go through similar periods then will suddenly get higher views with a video later on .... Its the problem of 2023 - You cannot naturally understand the way it is advertising channels as we do not control the coders at google (youtube)
As a modern maker i find it very interesting. Thanks for sharing what you have learned.

Exactly, will as another person mentioned in comments, nothing is boring. If your not into it ,10min is boring. I could watch 2,3,4,5,hour videos. As long as its showing us ,or telling us something interesting. And let's face it,it's all fkn interesting. The world is full of rude ,scared frightened people. It's fascinating that story of the leather lost on that ship. Anymore super interesting stuff. The best of health to you my friend.
Круто. Спасибо за очередной прекрасный контент и.. спасибо за труд! Твори ещё .
I really enjoy these in-depth vids. Keep up the good work.
You the man, Will! I'd love to come across the pond and do a bit of learning and an apprenticeship. Aye? lol Cheers from Billy Penn's Woods.
very nice and definitely not boring haha

Thank you for taking us on this journey! 🙌🏻 This is definitely not boring, it is brilliant. You just need to know there’s only so many brilliant people who will watch it. Small group these days lol. But that’s ok and we need the information. Knowledge unshared is lost! 🤙🏻
Now that was amazing and skilful.

@@WillLordPrehistoricSurvival It worked, I used the pendulous sedge I cut and dried from the summer. Instead of rolling it like with Nettle stems, I parted the leaves into 3mm strips and plaited them together. So far I've made 3 meters of cordage so far, it's very pliable and strong. I'll have to make a video and link you to it so you can have a look.

Theres loads where i am ,exactly the type you have in this video, theres small hills near me,dipping up and down ,all flint and chalk.when i used to go over there every week. Me an my lad would mess around with napping it ,into a knife. Emmence fun.cuts all my hands . Buitifull stuff thoe, and being worked for ????? Thousands, 100s of thousands?????
Mot so boring . I have watched 3 times trying to pick up how to cross stitch the edge. Nice work.
