Making A Self-Watering System With Clay Pots
Evergreen's Lead in Urban Agriculture, Isaac Crosby (aka Brother Nature) will teach you clay pot irrigation, an Indigenous urban agriculture technique learned from his great grandparents and in practice at Evergreen Brick Works. Water passes through the clay pots only when the soil is dry, which means saving a precious resource by not overwatering.
This is Episode Eight of Gardening with Brother Nature, where Evergreen's Isaac Crosby shares plant stories, gardening tips and inspiration for your garden at home - no matter where you live!

Great info and presentation. Thank you.
Thank you SO much!! Brilliant
THANKS FOR THE GREAT INFORMATION MANY BLESSINGS
Great video! I would probably have to place a stick in the hole to check the water level in the tc pot...Jamaica (on the plains) has weeks at a time of drought and is extremely hot with 0% humidity.
great job.
Loved this video! Not sure if it'll work the same with Grow Fabric Pots but assuming it will I'm going to get pots to give this a try. It looked like you had a 4ftx4ft planter box? Is it better to have the 2 smaller or one bigger one in the middle?
This is great. I love any chance to learn good advice to give customers at the plant nursery I work at. Been having trouble figuring out how to water my young plants little terracotta pots though 😞 Great video though, super good info
Ollas also purify the water , they make great filters .
Aquarium Silicone to plug and seal sides, perhaps?
Great info. Would love to see future videos shot horizontally.
Lovely Video. You will make A Difference!! Let's be youtube friends? :o

I wouldn't use Weldbond, Weldbond glue is not waterproof. Use Gorrila glue or Rubber Cement.
