Making an Olla : A self watering plant roots irrigation pot.
After seeing some "Ollas" which are terracotta pots based on an ancient design, which are buried into the soil around your plants with just the top visible,then you fill them with water and the water simply seeps out slowly around the roots watering and irrigating where it is needed,I decided to make one.
Just top up the pot with water when empty
So here it is folks.

I have used a pressurised version called a "Wetpot" & an Olla in the past & they both worked great... Looking forward to see how they go for you... Have a good one...
Great!! Which temperature do you cook it? To not let too much water pass through it. To find the right balance of porosity. (Sorry for my english...)

Every time I hear the word "Olla” mentioned in this context, I absolutely cringe as if someone is scraping their nails across a blackboard! This is NOT an “Olla”! This is a “Jarro” which is a different type of vessel than an Olla! Leave it to a Gringo to butcher the word.
