🎬 Making a Real Clapperboard

A friend needed a prop clapperboard for her film. With a low budget of 10$ and only half a day available to work, I made a classic/old fashioned product that not just looks like the iconic product, but also completely functions like the real thing. Since posting this video, I made two more similar claplerboards to viewers that reached out to me!

Brilliant video, even if I don't need a clapperboard the video was well shot and lighted. The audio was just what was needed without words and the whole process was a joy to watch. I will have to go and see what materials I have.

0:34 this thing it made from polymer clay and bake in oven? Beacuse Lorechirik teaches me polymer clay to bake in oven until dry now wet polymer clay

Nowadays clapperboards are either digital, or made for dry-erase markers. Chalk boards are slowly becoming obsolete in our modern culture. Is my clapperboard historicaly accurate? Probably not. But I still consider it a success in recreating something that is iconic for a time period long gone.
