Making a PVC Halloween Fence

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

After a recent visit to New Orleans, and a cemetery tour, I decided that the family crypt build wasn't quite finished. It needed one more detail - a fence! So in this video, I'll be taking it back to basics and will build a haunt fence from PVC pipe and wood planks.

Great build! It inspires me to get around to the fence I've been blowing off for years. BTW, if one has access to a table saw and the time, ripping your own 1x2 furring strips out of wider boards can yield a far better product than precut pieces.

Those finials really bump up the production value, looks fantastic. The corners are brilliant, so practical. Your builds never cease to amaze me, excellent ideas and work. I'm hoping to do something this like atop a very low foam faux capped brick wall. We have a very shallow front yard, just long enough to "bury" our dead, and this will help it look so much more realistic. Thanks for another great video.

Again, great build... I like how well the fence came together and you were able to quickly make the texture and color... That's usually the hard part. It really adds that extra level of detail/reality that maybe you don't notice if it's not there, but sells it when it is there. And now you can't imagine it without it being there! For my own curiosity, not a suggestion: The concept of these fences in the cemetery, I thought the fence would surround the whole crypt? And maybe not...

I like the finial reference you got! My dad and I made a Dracula tombstone based on the ones from CastleVania 2 Simon's Quest and Super CastleVania 4. The lettering for Dracula's name was based on some used on monuments in Romania for the real Vlad Tepes Dracula. I also purchased a portrait of Vlad from a person who lives in Romania. It turned out pretty cool!

Not looking to do this for a crypt but to enclose my front yard and some landscaping, about 200 feet in total with a few different angles, 45, 90 and 180.
