  • @Stormbrise

    @Stormbrise

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@vietthanhnguyen1227 actually no, I have a PC laptop, I own a Mac mini already, why would I want to shell out a couple of thousand dollar for a good quality, good storage space laptop (hence not an air but a pro). My line of work requires a pc and software does not nor will ever be developed for a Macintosh. Plus with MS picking up blizzard soon, you may not be getting the games either. I prefer to write on my Mac because it allows me more peace of mind then the known issue bugs with larger documents with he PC version of word, which I am required to use for my thesis where I am. This bug, get beyond so many pages, your images will disappear behind text never to be found but still making the file size larger because well they’re images. Or the sudden disappearance of the entire document that is really difficult to recover with all the coding text that gets entered into if you are lucky enough to find an earlier text file. These issues, confirmed by a former VP of MS, are legacy from word perfect (back in the 90s when MS purchases the company, hostile) conversion to the PC since it was a Macintosh application. They would have to rebuild the software from scratch and they do not want to invest the man hours to do it, when most users writing smaller documents ever encounter this problem, students and researchers writing larger papers with images have suffered. Yes I always backup now, but it gets tedious keeping track of all these files, and Dropbox and other online storage are not so good for history documents as they claim to be.

    I had a 10th gen iPad kzread.infoUgkxUGaHtKW8MwCql2fPyIm9-ftTqSMzKFFA . Felt it getting pretty slow at times even after doing a reset. So I am using that as a tablet for my 5 year old son and got this 9th gen version. MUCH faster, a little slimmer, smaller bezels, all around a leap forward. Plus, for the price that’s about $130-$150 cheaper than a current new model this is a nice deal. I look forward to the M-series CPUs coming into iPads which will really help future proof these tablets better but these latest CPUs are pretty strong and should do better to last several years with no compromises.

    I absolutely love watching your design process. It's really inspiring and motivating! It makes you more *human* rather than a distant creator. It reminds us that you still need to brainstorm and go through trial and error before finding what works for you. I'm definitely for you showing more design process. It was not at all boring in this video and it's really informative to see your process. I'd never thought of drawing on a monitor with whiteboard markers. Or maybe I have, but it felt wrong to me, so I didn't. Anyway, keep up the good work and I look forward to seeing your next project.

    This is genius! I have 2 Mac Minis and an iPad and always wondered if I could somehow make them work together. I love a laptop, but I don't have one and I don't want to drop $1K + to have one, so something like this fits the bill!

    Cool video, some behind the scenes is interesting because it shows that there is a process, behind the ideas, like the item didn’t materialize out of thin air. It also gives a window in what an engineer/designer actually does and might inspire a new generation of engineers/designers.

During the process portions I was still all in, this video has a cool kids vibe and invites the watcher to be a part of the club, not as a confused outsider. What elese can I say, I've never hit like/subscribe as fast as I did here. Bravo!

    Beautiful design, the max mini’s base snapping together to secure it in place was more satisfying than expected. It was like a little seatbelt for the babe. Watching your videos is incredibly satisfying as you design to fill gaps and leave everything in what’s seems the absolute perfect place. Just enough to feel elegant and classic rather than over the top or sterile.
