    You should have shown us how to do a parallelogram wedged through tenon; to which the short edges match the front angle of the stool.

    Can you explain the danger of cutting out that dovetail on the router? Is it because the shavings/dust don't have anywhere to go so it might want to kick out somewhere, or because its a stopped dado and the piece needs to be held in place while the bit is stopped?

    If you try to widen it you can only go one way with the piece on one side where the bit is spinning with the movement of the piece

    ohhhhh yes yes... the lightbulb just went on.. you really only have one shot to get that the right width and perfectly centered. definitely a good time to use a few scrap pieces to test on. thanks man, great video!
