Build a step stool with rock solid joinery.
Cherry Step Stool || Traditional Wood Joinery ...In this video I show you how I took some warped, cracked, twisted and pith-y cherry that was destined for the fireplace, and turned it into a step stool with traditional wood joinery. A twist of walnut was added to complement the richness of the cherry. The use of traditional joinery, like mortise and tenon and wedged mortise and tenon, make this piece completely bomb proof and it will no doubt outlive me. And of course, there were mistakes made along the way, but where's the fun in doing everything right the first time? LOL.
