Making A Marking Knife: Start to Finish

This is the first knife with a handle that has been completed in the new workshop garage. It's a marking knife / very skewed chisel. It's got a copper bolster, a sterling silver pin, paduk and a mystery wood handle. It's shaved more arm off my hair than it has hair off my arm, but that doesn't make sense, it's just very very sharp.
Welcome to 2022. Knife year. It's a real thing that's happening and will continue to happen : ) in the 90 minute long hacksaw / grinder video I made I cut out 8 shapes, and I will take them to completion and hopefully learn a lot along the way.

Awsome job, looks like a very handy tool to have around. The mistery wood kinda looks like zebrino from one side but Im most likely wrong as it could also be olive wood, Indian laurel or even bocote? I'm no wood expert just taking a guess what it could possibly be.

Thank you very much! These are also much better guesses than I had! After some googling it could be any one of those, its very ambiguous but it is pretty, and the knife part has had a lot of use around the house / shop as well : )
