My name is Jebsen Kerman. I am the only survivor of the 2019 Kerbal 2 incident. I was in the Economy seat (because it was, like, 10$) and when I got into my seat I thought "Wait, doesn't this part of the rocket detach?" I was nervous. My brother was next to me, and I said to him "I think this part of the rocket comes off, doesn't it?" "I dunno" my brother said. Just then, my seat rumbled. The engines were powering up. Then, we lifted off. I was sweating, not just because I was next to a REALLY hot engine, but also because I thought that that part of the rocket came off. It was a very uncomfortable ride. I was basically deafened by the engines (but not literally because I had a spacesuit on). I looked down at the space centre, thinking "This might be the last time I see that building again." My thoughts were very jumbled and messed up, so I forgot that it was a complex, not a building. We then started heading south, and I thought "Something's wrong". I started breathing really heavily, and a few minutes later, I saw the fire-like stuff that appears when a spaceship enters or leaves the atmosphere. My first thought was "The space ship's on fire, THE SPACESHIP'S ON FIRE!" but then I realised it's the "fire-like" stuff that I mentioned earlier, and I thought "at least we'll make it into the atmosphere". Then, I heard a noise, like a gust of wind, but different than the other gusts of wind in my face. Then I saw the front part of the rocket fly away from where we are. I started screaming. "HELP! HELP! HELP US! AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!" but I knew there was no help coming. Our part of the rocket was spinning towards the ocean and I knew my fate was sealed. But then, it started moving towards land. I got my parachute ready. I looked down again. We were 500 feet above the ground and rapidly decreasing. I got my parachute out, properly this time. We landed at an angle so when one part of the rocket hit the ground, my part didn't. I pulled the pilot chute and I heard an explosion. My eyes were closed, and I thought I was dead. I opened my eyes, expecting to be in Heaven, with my dog, or in Hell, but instead of being in Heaven, my face was being dragged against the grass. I somehow got up, my left arm was broken and I looked at the wreck. I saw my brother's body, mostly fine, just a bit bruised and bloody, although I couldn't be sure because my helmet was cracked. Emergency services came 5 minutes later and I was rushed to the hospital. I still can't believe I lived. Written: 15:00 British Summer Time (GMT +1) 20/08/2020

I’ve never successfully done it without any broken parts, but I have landed it on like my first week (breaking only the landing gear and whatnot) or so of playing. Imma say he probably did actually do “boring space stuff,” not hyperedit. 1 more thing that’s fun to do that’s not at all related: Set the gravity to 0.01 and start flying around Kerbin or to space or whatever.

Consider a hypothetical planet with a gravitational constant of G = 10 m^3/kg/s^2 and a radius of 100,000 km. An astronaut with a mass of 70 kg is standing at the equator of this planet. Determine the rotational speed at which the planet needs to spin to create a centrifugal force equal to twice the force of gravity experienced by the astronaut." Explanation: To solve this problem, we need to consider the gravitational force experienced by the astronaut and the centrifugal force due to the rotation of the planet. The force of gravity experienced by the astronaut is given by the equation F_gravity = m * g, where m is the mass of the astronaut and g is the acceleration due to gravity. In this case, the mass of the astronaut is 70 kg. The centrifugal force experienced by the astronaut is given by the equation F_centrifugal = m * ω^2 * r, where m is the mass of the astronaut, ω is the angular velocity (rotational speed) of the planet, and r is the distance from the axis of rotation to the astronaut's position. In this case, the distance from the axis of rotation to the equator is equal to the radius of the planet, which is 100,000 km (or 100,000,000 meters). We want to find the angular velocity (ω) at which the centrifugal force is twice the force of gravity, so we can set up the following equation: 2 * m * g = m * ω^2 * r Simplifying the equation by canceling out the mass (m) on both sides and substituting the given values, we get: 2 * 10 * g = ω^2 * 100,000,000 Dividing both sides by 100,000,000 and taking the square root, we find: √(2 * 10 * g / 100,000,000) = ω Now, we substitute the value of the acceleration due to gravity (g ≈ 9.8 m/s^2) into the equation: ω ≈ √(2 * 10 * 9.8 / 100,000,000) Simplifying further, we get: ω ≈ √(0.0196 / 100,000,000) Calculating the square root and simplifying, we find: ω ≈ 0.000014 Therefore, the rotational speed at which the planet needs to spin to create a centrifugal force equal to twice the force of gravity experienced by the astronaut is approximately 0.000014 radians per second.
