Making a Longbow with Fabric
Using Cotton fabric under the fiberglass to make a bow camouflage. I make a kids bow but the same technique will work for any other traditional archery bow. This is a good alternative to paint or any other wrap you would put on your bow limbs. You can use any print you want to customize your bow.

Thanks.
That's a really good video production and looks a lot of fun. Often thought about doing this with cotton just to see how it would shoot.

I wanted to see how it worked as well. I need to do a hunting weight bow to get a real feel on if it makes a difference.
Pretty cool Ty 👍🏻 I was always going to do Aqua camo for bowfishing bows. Might yet 🤔

That’s a great idea. That would look good for a bow fishing rig.
That actually looks pretty darn cool. Have you tried it yet on a full size/hunt weight bow? I think I may try this out.. thanks for sharing and nice job...them boys are shootin great... 😉

I haven’t tried it on a hunting weight bow yet but I don’t think it will have any problems or add much weight. Let me know how yours turns out. Thanks
Love the bows you made. Do you use bamboo laminations for your bow marking? If you do, do you do fire harding for your bamboo laminations? Thank you very much.

I use bamboo as a core lamination in a lot of my bows but I’ve never fire hardened them. It would be a fun experiment to see how much difference it makes.
