Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль
Hi Friends! This is the final video of the Kokomi series and I cant thank you enough for coming on this journey with me. This is a super easy and pretty cheap prop, I used about 2-3 yards of organza, Link below. If you happen to spot yourself in some of the con footage at the end of the video please leave a comment and I will pin it so people can know where you are :)

Using a popping out umbrella is such a cute idea !! And the whole craftsmanship from the choice of the fabrics to those clips of you and the umbrella are just awesome !! Such a great and clean video like always 💕 (that trailer definitely hyped me tho, the footage were so promising 👀)

Aww! thanks so much!
9:46 predicting Bongo-Head several versions early. 😂 Amazing work on the whole cosplay, I know it's an older video now, but I've just watched the whole series on Kokomi and really enjoyed it.

Lmao I thought of bongo head too xD
In general the best thing in life is just walking around a convention and POPPING out a jellyfish, it sounds perfect
This is bringing back some memories as to my current UFO of my Princess Jellyfish cosplay in which it looks just like a moon jellyfish with pearls and frills and fringe to create the look of a jellyfish on the skirt portions with fringed ruffles on the organza petticoat. I got as far as the skirt and the bodice is still in pieces and thank the cosplay gods its a corset back since I doubt it will fit if its a zipper back.

Ahh! That'll be so so pretty!
When I was a kid, I wanted to go as a jellyfish for Halloween. And we used taken apart loofahs from the dollar store as the tendrils, which worked really, really well.
I'm way old, not into cosplay, and somehow ended up on your channel and love it. I'm fascinated by your sewing techniques (and I don't sew either). The jellyfish reminded me of Strawberry Shortcake character hats. Like I said, I'm old.
9:33 I don't think a lot of people realise just how important this is. Thank you for putting it into words!
2:24 you saved me if I ever plan to make/buy a kokomi cosplay
am so happy when someone cosplayed as kokomi bcz its really rare to see kokomi cosplayer for me
When you were looking for the seam ripper, I was pointing and saying, "It's right there!" You didn't see it because it was hiding behind your sewing machine I discovered you channel today and I've been binge witching.
This may have been 1 year ago but it reminded me of when I was in a ballet performance of the Little Mermaid. They made us jellyfish umbrellas but alot simpler. Thank you for activating this memory with my favorite game

Every single time I watch your videos I am shocked by the quality in the editing and the useful information and graphics. I have no fucking clue why you don't have more views tysm for this amazing content 💕💕💕✨️✨️✨️

Thank you for talking about the stiff net. I didn't know there was an actual mesh fabric that was stiff like that. I knew about artificial horsehair fabric and tulle, but didn't know about stiff net. Now I know the name of what I am looking for when I make my poofy underskirt.
Omg. this is going to be great for a possible future cosplay of a different character

@@SarahSpaceman the character i plan on cosplaying eventually is Haiyi! There’s this one official art of her with a jellyfish parasol, and I think she’d look adorable with it, regardless of which design of hers I’m using
0:58 lol I love how the seam ripper is right next to her
Incredible work as always!!!!! And I can't wait to see your take on the strawberry dress
Ahh thank you so much for this tutorial! I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a jellyfish prop for Kokomi and this is perfect!🤧
Normally I watch you when im making cosplay myself, but today I’m learning to rollerskate!
Love Kokomi and love the jellyfish parasol idea 😍
I’ve followed you for Ages on Instagram but have only just now discovered your youtube and i have to say i Love your videos. Your detailed explanations, video quality, and all around creation of them scratch my brain in the absolute best way and I don’t think I’ve felt this way about cosplay videos since Mangosirene’s cosplay work logs. :’^) i hope you continue to do what yr doing bcause this is just excellent
The mushroom hat is giving ✨sea ganoderma cosplay✨ 😂😂
Love this whole cosplay and your videos on it!! Super impressive work! It's incredible to see a person tackling such a complicated design and thus I hope you do more genshin characters in the future, cause it's just so fun and interesting to see how you problem solve and make things happen!
Thank you so much for this. Wanna do Kokomi soon and thought about making an umbrella like this too. Your explanations will help so much 💖💖💖
I’ve avoided the strawberry dress hype for years, but now- in the year of our betta fish goddess Kokomi 2024- I’ve found Sarah and my hype for the strawberry dress 😂 But seriously, this cosplay is amazing and I can’t wait to get my cosplay sea-legs, maybe a serger or a cut & sew foot, and try more complicated projects like this!
This just makes me want kokomi even more
strawberry short cake!!! thats a interesting look ... loving the jelly fish
Oh my goodness! I absolutely love it! Dang this makes me want to make one I absolutely love jellyfish it’s so cute and adorable! 😍💕❤️ you did such an amazing job making this

*saves to watch later for my own purposes bc this was just a tutorial in sewing* THANK YOUUUUUUUUUU
Omg this is so cute!
This has inspired me to start cosplaying!
Another great one!!
this series singlehandedly made me want to pull for kokomi
Damn you, I was avoiding the Genshin hole! Now I need to cosplay this
You can also adjust the settings on your serger to ruffle the fabric. Highly recommend getting a book on how to use a serger.
the jellyfish umbrella aesthetic is a timeless classic and i love how this one looks! organza is just so pretty it's such a shame how easily it frays. your videos are really making me want to get back into sewing for real!!! this one jogged my memory enough to make me remember i actually have my grandmothers serger, so next time im at my parents place i might go ham. i think i remember you mentioning in some other video that you watch?watched? drag race, and i'm wondering who your favorite queens are. mostly bc this video thumbnail reminded me of yvie oddly who is actually my favorite lmao
I never heard of the tension method for ruffling. That's so interesting!

It's my go to way because its just so quick haha.
Gosh I love your videos so much
this would be even cooler if you'd put some fairy lights into the jellyfish but it already looks so epic!!!!
How cute!!!
Hello~ I know that this video is three moths old, but I can’t stop wondering how long did it take you to make the all cosplay, I want to try to make it for an upcoming event but I don’t know how long it can take me. It’s amazing the final result it’s so pretty, I love the way you explained it so well, you are so nice and lovely.🥰💕💞

I was too shy to come up and say i hi to you bsck then at the con i loved ypur kokomi you were so pretty and i couldnt stop looking at the jellyfish me and my friends were gushing over it!
That's so cute I would make/buy one if I could
When you put it on as a hat I got serious Strawberry Shortcake Blueberry Muffin vibes!
And goodluck with all the bedding for the strawberry dress!!!!! omg

This is amazing
That was pretty
The best thing is just casually releasing jellyfish for pictures anx the small gasps behind the camera like omg yess it's so cute That would be such an ego boost
Omggg so cool you went there. My boyfriend does valet thereeeee.❤
Pretty!
My school has clubs and In the sewing club we made some plushies!
I learned more about maths in this video than I did in high school

Ive probably learned more math for cosplay than I ever did in school too haha
very cool i want one
When you were wearing the jelly as a hat it was giving strawberry shortcake !!
it was so cute :)
9:59 It's the Nihilego Ultra Beast Pokemon!!! They made a hat version in Pokemon Go too! ^_^ Looks awesome!
I met you at HolMat last year!!! I was the Kokomi in the Jellyfish dress!!!!

I remember you! I loved your Kokomi! You were so cute!
Random hack: sergers are super expensive (like $1000). But you can get a really nice general sewing machine for the same price or less that has an overlock stitch and foot. It's not quite as fast as a serger and it won't cut the fabric for you. But I've used mine to death and I only need to have one machine.
That is so cuuuute! And uhhhh can’t wait for your video on strawberry dress 😍
9:56 honestly this could be a great idea for a bongo-head type of fungus in genshin as a cosplay, probably based on a fanart
Underrated
Well now i really wanna make some kind of custom umbrella
This could also be great for an elden ring cosplay if you want to make the jellyfish summon
ok, so the reports of the balloons or whatever they've been shooting down lately. They keep talking about it having 8 legs and its like nothing they've seen before. And I couldn't help but imagine some sitcom-worthy cosplay experiment that ended with your lovely jellyfish serenely floating away into the wild blue yonder ..... only to be shot down over Montana. Something about that image, its perfection 🤣. Love your work and had to share 😉❤️
There are overlock stitching feet for sewing machines. Seamstressed reviewed one in her series: keep or yeet. I’ve bought one but haven’t been able to use it yet (migraines are awesome 😒)
Your seam ripper was behind your sewing machine the whole time😂
OH MY GOODNESS THAT OUTRO! I love your videos!

Yar mother must be so proud 👏
1:03 i will alwys think "THE SEAM RIPPER IS BEHIND THE SEWING MACHINE" every time I watch this video
Yeah, here (UK) I've only heard them called overlockers (w/o the "machine" part)
YESSSS KOKOMI I LOVE HER SM I MAIN HER AND RAIDEN AND I REALLY WANT TO COSPLAY HER lol
*This video made me want to learn how to sew..*
I would like you to know that the words “mycelium princess” have lit a fire in my brain
Want to try with mushroom concept... wish me luck
I was getting strawberry shortcake vibes from the hat idea XD
Suuuuch a cute jelly
7:32 oh hi Mona!
I hate threading my serger, so I cheat and tie my new thread the previous one and usually it goes through without a problem!
Hello, can I use this jellyfish umbrella idea? I plan on making my own Kokomi cosplay and think this is so cute!
I feel like you could make the jellyfish umbrella ☔️ a trend as big as felted hats - y’know what it needs?? LED LIGHTS! You can make shroombrellas, too! And glow-in-the-dark ones and waterproof 💦 TOO!! I want this so much I might have to make one, if that’s okay with you (not for a con and it doesn’t have to be like yours, of course)
OMG💖💖💖
The option of the Surger is like getting a drawing tablet with screen XD
