Hi - I never measure the strips, but I think I somewhere between 1,5-1,8 meter. But it’s very different from horse to horse, and what templates I’m using. 😁

Do you mean the stroke between the to halfs of the horse? I think you can not know how long it has to be. Just make sure it is long enough, you can always cut pieces off if you have to much. So you better can make a to long stroke
