Haha, the Binz looks pretty modern, but I guess it's preference. If I was planning my own funeral, I'd choose the Cadillac over the Binz because the Binz just looks a bit like a fisher price toy car.

not always a cadillac chassis. they also were built from pontiac, oldsmobile, ford, lincoln, buick, and many other platforms. I personally own a 1985 Buick LeSabre hearse

@Fanik10 Not to drive the hearse, although it does take some getting used to the blind spots. You do need a license to become a funeral director--different rules in different jurisdictions.

why do i find the narration of this piece less than appropriate .. like the comment at the end .. "the funeral coach has an ethereal look..appropriate (said in smug tone ..shudders*) since its designed to make an exit thats out of this world (stinky cheese line)".... good gods! who rights that crap and says yeah! this is perfect for that film of hearses ... the grieving family will love it.!

@Fanik10 Depending on where you live, all you need is a regular driver's license. I live in Ontario, so I have a G class license.

No it's why they're the industry leader and it's also why they are in business with Binz to build Mercedes Benz hearses and limousines in the United States. Not just any hearse manufacturer gets that contract. You're probably bitter because you work for Accubuilt and their business is tanking.

@BulletNoseBetty Would you have to get a special licence for that? Do you have to take Mortiuary Science courses for it? Just curious.

@BulletNoseBetty I see. So all you need is a Class B and C license?

@fitzhitz Oh? Is that why they're the smallest company and sell theirs cheapest?
