Tipsy Billy the New Year's Gnome wearing a lampshade for a hat. The process starts with a conceptual drawing followed by the roughed out carving, cleaned up carving with wood burned details and an application of walnut oil, painting with acrylic craft paints and then a finish of water-based polycrylic, and finally an application of antiquing medium to bring out additional details and add some depth to the colors.
