Making a Handmade Leather Purse - Crossbody Bag Leathercraft ASMR

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Another special request! This time from my wife. Call it a purse, crossbody bag, saddle bag . . . satchel? The pattern can be purchased on Etsy from Karlova Design (pattern name "Whiskey") . They have a lot of very cool stuff and their leathercraft patterns are well engineered and thought out. They didn't sponsor this video, but you should definitely check out their shop.
As per the pattern's suggestion, I built this piece with veg-tan that I oiled and conditioned with Aussie. It was only after I was almost done my wife asked for a dragon on the front flap (instead of the Road Agent logotype.) Will have to make that alteration later. I'll post it on my instagram. Which btw, you can follow on @roadagentleather
btw, the laser I'm using for the front flap art is the Creality Falcon 2 Pro 60W. If interested, below is a link to save my viewers some $ on purchasing one (use code"FNPALL10"). Full disclosure: my channel makes a (very) small commission on this.

It's called "casing". It prepares the leather to accept tooling/stamps. I put it in the bag to let the moisture fully penetrate the leather and not dry out. It's usually only a few hours. Some allow it to sit over night.
