Making a Handmade Alligator Watch Strap

Фильм және анимация

If you' like to make a strap like this of your own checkout our training course on how to make these watch straps here - saddlestitch.co.uk/training/w...
"Take a glimpse in to the workshop as I make a handmade leather watch strap from start to finish with the traditional hand skills and tools of the saddler and sellier. The work is deceptively simple yet incredibly precise, the materials beautiful yet durable, timeless yet ever changing. The techniques we use are time consuming and take years or decades to master, our products are a labour of love. In an age where luxury is often defined only by a logo and price tag straps like this are different, handmade, hand stitched quality, made to last, made with passion and craftsmanship, not with a machine."

Rare to see content which purely focuses on the actual content itself. Thank you for being part of a community which understands the value of such deeds. Moreover, gratitude for allowing us to be part of the whole experience. Beautifully executed craftsmanship mate!

Really? I don't think its rare at all to see videos on KZread which just focus on pure content. I think a lack of being able to find said videos just says more about how much a person wants to find them amidst the mind-numbing streams of entertainment. I will say this video in particular is comfy though.

There is something so satisfying about watching that chisel put a taper on the leather. It's so sharp and offers no resistance, quite literally like cutting through butter. I want to get into fine craftmenship, but in my case woodworking. These videos inspire me to follow that dream and remind me that it is not impossible and that there are others who are interested in the making and buying of these fine products.
