I've personally investigated a lot, and it may be a bit too soon for Brackeys to make a tutorial. It's still very much in development. The only complete code package we have right now is the new unity.transport which is a super thin udp layer (packets can get duplicated, lost, corrupted, etc) To make a game, you need a more complete and robust framework on top of the transport layer (that takes care of packet reliability for example). Unity provides one in the FPS Sample, but it's very complex. We'll have to wait before unity provides more complete and easy solutions.

Welcome back! I work with Godot for some time now, and I´ve learn a lot trying to port some your work in Unity. One of them was a cool game that you made some years ago, called Date Night. I´ve wonder if you want to revisit some your work and check the differences between Unity and Godot.
You should keep updating this and getting it on Steam or something, this is pretty good. I would even pay for this.
Your hairstyle is awesome bro.
Really cool game
I wanted to take the course but after seeing the $400 USD for the indie course and $600 USD for the VR course I almost feel out of my chair. That's just a tad to much cash that I'm sure many people can't just throw around. If it was $50 I would most likely say yes as there are a number of very good corses going for much, much cheaper including your own on Udamy but at the current price absolutely not.

I did the mastery course. I know it cost much more than a Udemy course. But I learned more than any of the several Udemy courses I've gone through. It definitely goes beyond the basics that almost all Udemy courses cover endlessly. My programming skills leveled up considerably thanks to the course and Jason's other KZread videos.

I know this was a year ago, but this is just such a brilliant game!
Make it a four player game and chaos is guaranteed 😁! Nice game and thank you for the video!
Wow I would love to see a video where you explain how you approach this light system on 2D.
Hi! :) Sometime ago i tried to make a platform game with some mechanics you used here, and i never thought it could be so hard! Tried in gamemaker, godot and unity (that seemed to be the one that could enable me to get to my goals). I saw a lot of tutorials (yours included) and this is the first time i found something close to what i needed. I wanted to make a 2d puzzle platform with face sensitive blocks (each of the 4 sides should react in different ways, depending where the player comes from). I think minute 2:55 of this video has the answer, i'll look into it and give it a try again then, maybe, in an upcoming game jam i can post it ;) thanks, always learn a lot with your tutorials :)
It's great brackeys
I want to see some speed runs of this. Co-op speedruns are always interesting.
Omg! This game is so cool. I wish i've made it. :D
If u continue to work on this game, you could work on changing how both characters move. For example, you could give the pink character a float ability like SSB Peach/Daisy. For the blue character, you could add some sort of mid-air dash, or maybe an ability to be able to hold the jump button to jump higher. To balance this second ability, you could make the initial jump of the lie character lower than the pink character’s jump
I might try to do something like this, but with different art... Very nice game, though, I LOVED it!
YOU ARE A AMAZING PROGRAMER. I LIKE YOUR PIXEL ART A LOT.
I really love the artwork in this game. What did you use for lighting?

This looks like an amazing yet simple game. I would love to play this with my girlfriend on an actual date night. Dinner and a game about two people working to gather to have dinner date. Love it so much.
I remember how i watched a video about the process of making "Do it for me" from the same gamejam.
Thank you so much
This is a cool gamejam project! I would have tried to implement a switch player controller for single player mode. I'll try it next weekend!
That looks like a good game that could get kinda popular under the right conditions.
Hi! Can you teach us how you implemented the collider-ignoring mechanic? I've been trying something similar but I'm sure there are better ways
1:21 deadpool! 😂
A couple of polish concerns: There might should be a visual difference between the timer platforms and regular platforms, beyond the basic color change. (It could either be to make the timer platforms themselves visibly different in design, or it could be done through a fancier transformation effect.) It also might be preferable if there was an indicator beyond just trial and error to show which buttons connected to which outlines.
Great
i cant even tell u how happy i am that it was 333 xD Can you do a video, or do you have a video on the whole, Base Scene with the things that stay the same with another Scene layered over top? That would speed up my current project a bunch! (Gonna google in the meantime :P)
Wow. Your art has really improved. I mean. A lot. I really like how you stick with pixel art most of the time. P.S. What's the keyboard that you are using? I would really like to get a similar one.
