This is my new favourite channel. As a beginner, I find most of the woodworking accounts, although interesting, are using materials and tools I'll never be able to afford. And, even if I could, I'd still want to work with reclaimed/found materials. Also, crisps.

Great project. It turned out really nice. Congratulations.
Absolutely beautiful, you should be so proud!
So nice and classy yet unique - fits decor too
Great table, love the top. Makes me want to get out to my own shop and build more.
Excellent. It came out very beautiful!
It just proves that if look in the right places you can get quality timber for next to nothing !well done!!
Love the end results. Great work!
great project. love the finish and end result.
Job and music is perfect!
That's a great looking table well done
Respect for your workshop
way to go. nice work and finish.
Great job mate, came out sweet. Those bed rails are great, I've found quite a few on side of the road, I put 'em to use building a big cupboard for the laundry. Looking forward to the next project!
LMAO! Crisp-induced stress relief. Brilliant.
Beautiful!
have to say you have a eclectic mix of music!
Props for the vid! It finally helped me figure out something I was stuck with. I haven't started with Hyezmar's Woodworking Bible yet, but I googled and downloaded the book. Looks fun too!
I love this. Thanks.
Great table man
Very nice. Well done.
Lovely job! Now you have no t shirts left lol!! Nice jig on the drill press and I like the milk container tip will definitely be using that one!!!!
Any woodworking project playing Dr. Dre deserves a thumbs up. Nice job

nice work man ! I love it :)
nicework mate !
nice work!
You should consider getting a kreg pocket hole jig. I used mine when making my hallway table and it saved so much time when attaching the legs and stretchers together. Nice table though. Love the contrasting colours in the table top. I'm always on the look out for timber as well. My best find this week was from a skip outside a pub. Two solid wood table tops. A round one and a square one.

I have a cheap pocket hole jog (not a kreg) but I don't really like how they look so never seem to use it. Thanks though! Nice to hear you've salvaged some useful bits!
Very nice!
Good job man, its interesting to see you sand the danish oil while still wet, i've never seen that before. Think i'll give that a try on my next project. Nice to see more british wood workers on youtube who have small workshops(sheds) like me too.

Yeah I read about that technique apparently the oil and sanding creates a slurry which fills the wood pores for a smoother finish.... Seems to work and will be doing it again

Normally, people use grain filler for that... especially for plane sawn oak or other open pore species. You might give it a try. If you find Danish oil doesn't give the protection you'd like, check out post-cat lacs and/or conversion varnish.

Wow 6 years later and increased experience. I'm sure if u do this again u will avoid things like nails and glueing the top. Much respect to ur growth over the years as a woodworker
you are goooood, like your projects :-) like the way you making videos, not boring like some others do. keep it on :-)
Excelente video gracias.
The book provides clear illustrations kzread.infoUgkxbnOKZBE4evMO5V2vroHeCjq6d_MV6wJO diagrams that cover many of the essential topics. The projects at the end of the book are valuable for enhancing your skills and creating your own furniture. A digital platform linked to the book that could offer the plans for other woodworking projects with the cut sheets would have been a nice addition, but overall, the book is excellent.
awesome
Wow! Nice! Liked & Subbed! Looking forward to seeing all your Videos! Have A Super Week!..... Gus
Love the Jay Bates reference!

Nice job on the table Kieth ,have you thought of making a drill press table would not be without mine.
beautiful BUT a lot of tiny ugly holes at the end, that was absolutely not necessary since of using of glue only
Brilliant 2 part Project Keith. How the heck you got that wood for that price off Gumtree is beyond me, that was a good steal that mate. Anyway love the work on the table and also all the sanding and staining, also the finish waxing as well. Well done Keith a big pat on the back and a defo thumbs up from me.Oh before I forget, a nice Jay Bates snippet in there as well ha ha Take Care, Barry (from West Kirby)

Looks great .... if it had been half herringbone it would have been amazing! Just a thought!
great job. just a tip for those of us that are hard of hearing, it would be easier to understand what your saying if you weren't talking over mysic
I have seen few different channels now screwing or nailing table tops into position, I can't help thinking that when the wood expands or shrinks over the seasons it"s only going to split or warp?
@RagnBoneBrown

It’s glued to plywood, plywood is stable and doesn’t expand or contract

+Rag 'n' Bone Brown how did you learn about woodworking? Class at school or family member?

Nice finish on the table. I like how the sombre crisp eating allowed you to transition from what sounded like Bob Dylan to Prodigy haha

nice table, it turned out well you must be pleased, I saw you have the erbauer impact driver has it got a lot of power and how dose the batteries last on it ?
@RagnBoneBrown

It's been pretty good so far no complaints. Powerful enough and batteries last well. I've nothing to compare it to though as its my first impact driver
Molto carino/ very nice. Non hai fatto vedere come hai fatto il piano del tavolo

Love the table not the music
Love the videos! Which is why I'm really worried one day I'm going to come back to the channel to see the videos removed for copyright reasons. Won't you get screwed for the music in the video?

Rag'n'Bone's reply below is correct - the term is also used in the US. It's a specially type of mortise, also a subset of the term dado. Any of those terms would be technically correct, although rabbet is probably the most common in the US.
Predrill when using screws, if your sizes are right (drill pilot hole, then pre drill shank hole) you won't split - use coated decking screws #8 size. Read up on finish sanding and finish types, general finish work, you have a lot to learn in that area. Not a bad project, came out just fine in the end. Good Luck.

а ноги у стола разехались!!!!ха-ха.........................
I don't thnk those screws were a good idea. You basically removed a ton of wood from the weakest section of the legs, making a great spot for failure.
Beautiful!
