Making a deadly chemical in my parents' garage
Ғылым және технология
Check out Displate for some awesome metal posters! displate.com/?art=5fce35d0f033f
When I started this channel, I worked in a lab. However, after I left that job I had to do all my chemistry and filming in my parents' garage. It was dangerous and sometimes scary, but lately, I've been feeling like I miss it. So, I decided to go back and make scary bromine (one of my favorite elements) in the garage and to see if I actually miss how things were.

@@faxelexx7388 I was his shadow as a young child. Followed him everywhere and pretended to do whatever he was doing. One vivid memory is when he mowed the lawn I'd follow behind with my toy lawn mower convinced I was helping. My only regret and what I would change was after he retired. I was working a lot and didn't spend time with him like I used to. He was retired and spent a lot of time alone at home while my mom was at work. I just wish I visited more and talked more during this period. Just spent more time with him. It's so easy to get caught up in your life and unintentionally push those who are most important to us away. He was always in good health and exercised regularly. I never expected that he'd be diagnosed with late stage pancreatic cancer and then pass away a month later. I miss him more than anything, he was the best man I ever met. I wish I could be more like him. He loved my mother to no end. I hope I can find that love someday and not screw it up. I'm afraid I may have already blown my shot at it. And it's entirely my fault.

His dad probably did it in expectation of drugs being made. Theres no parent that thinks making a lab is a good idea unless something else is going on.
The truth is that modern chemistry came from medicine and alchemy and they both were done in spaces similar to kitchens.
Nostalgia. That longing for better times in the distant past. This implies that there were times when you thought your life was good.

Watching this, I had a flashback to the Organic Chem lab at Williams College that my mother ran a long time ago. In spite of her insistence on safety protocols, some students would invariably mess up, and so there were some interesting and scary stories.
I get the feeling I watch NileRed for the same reason that people watch nascar. The chance to see a terrible crash. Nigel can't identify a finger print, but feels he's qualified to make bromine. It's a razor edge that spells disaster and I cannot look away.
