From Davewoodrum- Thank you so much for the credit and the AWESOME transformation that you did on this! The whole diorama looks amazing and I showed my wife the lighting effects- I've bought the color changing strips myself in hopes that if I can ever get her to paint (as I'm lousy) as I'd like to do something similar to this. If you ever need anything from my non-free Fishwife Games brand (on Drivethru) for a presentation like this just let me know and I'll comp for you.

Hell yeah! Thanks for using the bits my dad and I made Jeremy. The result is unreal and I'm jealous I didn't make it.
This is one of my favorite videos of yours ever! Cyberpunk really doesn't get enough love in the terrain department.
@erc1971erc1971
4 жыл бұрын
Part of the reason Cyberpunk does not get much terrain love is just how much work it takes. This build had alot of parts to it, and to do Cyberpunk justice you need alot of it to create that crowded urban environment...which then creates the problem of being hard to move minis around in.
@libbyannbest1723

The small details are the most difficult. Hirst Arts makes silicone molds for plaster. This diorama can be easier if you incorporate Hirst Arts molds 325 and 326.
Jeremy i think this might be my favorite build you've done! Love it!
The nice thing about the diorama videos are regardless if the project you build is impractical for a gaming table there are vast amounts of techniques that are transferable to a gaming use build. I really dig building dioramas as well. Probably more so than practical game use pieces so I love what you did here. I can tell you really get into these as well so I hope you continue to return to these. Again tons of useful information in the two dioramas you’ve presented for anyone’s project regardless of its intended use. Great work!
I use those same transparencies with my scifi stuff to create energy shields. They work really well for glass in my 3d printed buildings too! Especially when I put a tea light behind them

OK, I know I'm not the brightest, but I cannot find where Staples does transparencies on their website and my local Staples' employee looked at me like a whelk doing a math problem. Where's the option for these wonderful transparent prints?
@BlackMagicCraftOfficial
4 жыл бұрын
@@jonathantillian6528 I can only speak for this site: staplescopyandprint.ca so I have no idea about Staples in USA. But when you create a file for print, you need to select paper type. One of the options available to me was transparency. So it wasn't an option right on the main page like printing photos or something, just an option for general document printing.
Dude. This is a masterpiece.
So cool! I love these builds that are more advanced where you don't worry about it necessarily being targeted to beginners and just let loose. Fantastic result, very inspiring!
Excellent build. We used to play Cyberpunk RPGs 25+ years ago. You nailed the look perfectly. My favorite bit are the details on the wall to the left. Well done!
man... that´s the definition of passion for crafting..one of the best builds ever.
That wailing 80s solo sets a perfect atmosphere too
Reflective stuff inside the lit room would help build a brighter space. Like chrome paint or small mirror tiles. It help bounce light around instead of the black walls absorbing some of the light.
Dude! This is some next-level genius. If you ever wanna be that guy who builds miniature cityscapes for practical fx-heavy movies, this right here is your calling card. Thanks, as always, for the inspiration!
'80s dystopia is always fun!
I dont know how comfortable you are with electronics and soldering, but to get those windows/signs to light up you could add a piece of acrylic behind it and wire in a LED below; Using the acrylic to diffuse the light through the sign.
That is a kickass diorama! The color and light really work against the dark and grime, it really captures the Cyberpunk feel.
This is a really cool build! It's really amazing to see how you leverage a broad array of techniques to get some really cool effects!! I also love how passionate you seemed about this build too! The end result looks fantastic!
Adding the parchment paper made a huge difference! The color changing lights look great!!!
More cyber punk please!
Loving Master Shinobi there! Robot/cyborg samurai are so cool.
I've admired your work for years! THIS IS MY FAVOURITE THING YOU HAVE EVER DONE!!!!! WOW!!!!!
This is by far my favorite build you've ever done
they are called "ballards". The things cars run into. really love your vids man.
More Cyberpunk styles this is just perfection. Well done
Extending the building could be a cool idea. The bottom is already lookin sick but the higher it goes the cooler it gets!
I was inspired by your last video and gave it a try!! I thought why not post it on youtube!! So I did! I hope you give it a watch and keep on crafting!
Very cool diorama. The parchment paper definitely makes the leds work.
Great build! Excellent job on the details Jamie :) Little tip for light builds in the future, if you find the lights not bright enough, paint the inside light housing flat white to reflect the most light, it'll brighten it up considerably over black
Usually not a big fan of cyber punk, but this is really awesome! I think it might be even your best build, the amount of detail and creativity is insane. Love it!
Love to see you add a tiny fan with led’s behind

Came out great. Very creative. What an age we live in, make things from bit and bytes.
This build is so awesome. And the sweet 80s music pushed this video over the top. Well done as always.
Now that is a sweet diorama! Cool trick with inverting the corrugated paper too.
Love the change in genre. Love the fantasy, but this is soooo cool!
This is a gorgeous piece, it's giving me a lot of inspiration for the future! I love the gritty, grimy feel you've achieved with the weathering and Graffiti, and the colour changing light effects really sell that 'cyberpunk' ambiance immediately. Top quality build, I love seeing these dioramas you create and the freedom it seems to offer you - you really seem to enjoy them and that comes through :)
you really need to do more builds like this. I really enjoyed watching this.
Interesting ideas at play here. It's given me an idea for a project of my own, especially since there's going to be a licensed miniatures range for Cyberpunk RED later this year. There's a particular scene in the novel "Neuromancer" that I would love to be able to capture in miniature form.

OG cyberpunk...! And what scene is that???
New we need a whole campaign about this!!
The build itself is masterful but what I like the most is how you have a whole little scenario set up with that cyber-samurai facing down those armored soldiers. If only there was a way to make it raining...
Oooh I love the bending of the q-tips idea! Really a amazing and remarkable build here. I dont know if there are games set in this setting but there should be. Worthy of Rulebook dios.
I am just discovering this building craft and am falling in love. I'm not a tabletop gamer, but I love artistic handy work and sculpture and darkness and creatures, and am starting to think creating monsters in small sets could be a lot of fun to bring some of my sketch ideas to life. This piece came together so well! Awesome details all over the place. Love every time he says "I think this needs some..." I think in my head "Yes, yes it does, do that!" And then he does it in some cool way and it's amazing.
1:16 whoaaa Cyber Raiden
I really enjoy these standalone dioramas. I don't play DnD (or is it D & D?). I'm just here for the entertainment and to learn new skills to apply to making dollhouse miniatures. It looks great
The things that stop cars from driving onto the sidewalk are called "bollards" (at least, that's what I know them as thanks to Cities: Skylines) Sweet build!

ROCKIN
It's not fantasy. But it still looks amazing. I was in Japan recently and I can totally see that being part of the Shinjuku district.
Wow! You did such an amazing job! This turned out so cool. I hope you do more cyberpunk in the future!
Yesterday I got an immense urge to start scratch building mechs and dioramas, that is kind of cyberpunk, would love to see you take on something like that.
That came out really amazing, worth all the time and effort. Funny, when you teased this a few days ago I immediately thought "Blade Runner" but I didn't realize why until you mentioned the billboard sign being from the movie!! Oh duh!! My subconscious knew even if I didn't .
Best project you've ever done. Amazing outcome.
That UV resin looks great
That background music is dope!
Not sure how I missed this video. This is freaking amazing. Ridiculously talented work!
Fun video. I love the little happy accidents to occur when you're creating.
This is one of my favorite videos of yours, amazing piece of art!
I love LOVE that you are doing dioramas! I don't play tabletop games but I always watch your channel for diorama building and painting techniques. So it's SUPER cool seeing you make some dioramas yourself. I always enjoy seeing how your pieces come together but this one was particularly cool! Keep them coming!
On my corona virus agenda, binge watch BMC back catalogue😷😷😷.
Your workspace and supplies are a dream come true. I covet your space. All this and no airbrush?
Ok, that's insanely good... *Mind blown*
I love this project, it turned out great! Hope to see you do more cyberpunk in the future!
Very cool! There really needs to be more products for this genre.
You should do some Warhammer 40k battle reports or D&D session videos. I would definitely watch those
Excellent video! Love the subject matter and the execution on it.
coolest nightlight iv'e seen so far tbh
I really like these little dioramas
I know this video it's almost one year old, but I need to ask you... will you create more cyberpunk dioramas? This one it's pure gold!

Wow!!!! An insane amount of ideas and inspiration presented in a build. Thanks

That is a great build and will be really cool with Cyberpunk 2077 coming out this year.
With light effects it's always a good idea to use wrinkled aluminium foil to reflect the light. Makes the light even brighter and diffuses the light as well.

When I see 3D print drip down I think you should build a cyberpunk nest - with monster and portal maybe !
Ridley Scott has a lot to answer for - I love it! Why are we so enamoured by a world it would be hell to live in? ...."Cross now, cross now"
Excellent build. Love Cyberpunk!
Wow. I'm jealous of your talent.
This is another masterpiece diorama. Your innovation is the best. I would absolutely use something like this as an integrated GM screen/background for any cyberpunk / sci fi game. It would add such ambience. Well done, brother.
