Digital Gorilla You're absolutely right. Uri is a Renaissance man; someone who tries new things and is immediately exceptionally skilled in that activity. He has been a true inspiration to me

Don't exaggerate, fanboy. The copper base was beautiful but the clay sculpture was a crap.
"I've never worked with Fimo before" ~Just straight up *becomes* Michelangelo~
And God saw Uri and said... "He shall have EVERY talent"! Lovely work that I'm sure your friends will treasure.

Yes that is how God works in fact. He never said that he made us equal.

Training Grounds Romans 2:11: For god shows no favoritism. Deuteronomy 10:17: For the LORD your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality and accepts no bribes. John 13:16: Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Act 10:34: Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism I don’t particularly believe in god but come on, There is plenty of writings that says God made us all equal.

@@kshatriya1414 Wasn't there that guy, Sampson, who was stronger than an ox, and the other one, Moses, who God asked to lead God's preferred people out of Egypt. It's almost as if the book says one thing, and also the opposite.

I don't care about religion but I personally think that it's pretty insulting to say that Uri's skills are talents gifted to him as if he didn't work hard to get there
Damn, dude, your talents truly know no bounds. You never cease to amaze, inspire, or entertain. Thank you for what you do.

that's what I thought. He's like a reincarnation of Michelangelo Buonarroti in the 21 century, I mean, look at that beard.
What Alec Steele needs a microscope, professional tools and 10 videos to do, Uri does with hand tools and the power of sheer awesomeness in 1 video.

Alec* was also just beginning engraving compared to Uri's many years of experience, as well as the fact he was engraving steel and not soft copper or brass like Uri does. Furthermore he does inlaying as well, which is a bit more involved past engraving. Not to denounce Uri's particularly refined skills, but you're kinda shitting on an equally talented and passionate student of his own craft.

You're a true renaissance man, Uri.
From raw material ,to a work of functional art ,thanks for showing the birth of this gift.
I hear there is an old dusty building in Paris that needs some refurbishing. Your skills could knock that out in a few days. Awesome work, I always look forward to your tubes.
Lover your stuff! Most of us could dig into this for hours and not break the bank but still come up with fine things to show for the effort. I went to school and took classes in silversmithing bronze casting and marble. I am working on a vice for graving right now along with a graver tool, air-driven. Watching you makes me want to set the motors aside and work with my hands again. Thers a sence of volume, substantiality when it is clear that parts where hand-rubbed caressed and moulded by a human all the way. I'm in !
8:35...ish *Uri:* I know you need to knead it somehow *Cat:* I got this
Can you please slide onto stage at makers central!? 😁 And wow! That's an incredible gift.

The "sliding intro" is your thing now, love it!
That has got to be the most beautiful "hockey puck" I've ever seen. Amazing to watch the sculpture go from a Gumby blob to a Greek God.
I wish I lived in that area, it would be an honor to meet such a spectacular artist/craftsman. Fantastic work my friend!
Fabulous copper work! It's too bad in our modern world that work of this calibur rarely receives the valuation it deserves. The conundrum of being an artist in the modern age.

www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/conundrum The conundrum I am referring to is the difficult choice of being an artist, knowing that ones work will likely go unappreciated and greatly undervalued to the extent that the work may not earn a "living" for the artist.
That was a beautiful piece of sculpture. Thank you for sharing your work.
You really do great work! I'm very impressed! I love the designs that you do in metal work. ❤️
You surprise me every time I see your projects, this time you made something that is too nice to use.
My god I love your work. You take every project and just bring it up to 11, everything you make is just so beautiful.
I wanted to post a comment to let you know how fantastically talented you are and what a joy it is to watch you work. But the other comments say it so much better than I can. We are truly blessed to get to (virtually) know you!

You are one of the best oldtime artist ive seen yet. Please keep making fantastic art, sir. Outstanding art, outstanding artist!
I don't do metal work, mostly work with wood, but I seem to always get ideas from your carvings. Great job
Great work Uri, And made with love.
That sculpture is truly amazing! See you in makers central
Just beautiful! Great job!
Very underrated as an extremely talented and multi-faceted artist and artisan. You have great talents and skills and seem like a very nice person. Keep up the good work, your craftsmanship is one-of-a-kind.
Without question the most interesting and under-resourced maker on youtube. DiResta is basically a factory entity, Kampf just makes variations of bikes and Steele trots around with click bait and unconvincing endorsement. You’re the real deal Uri! 👍🏻
