I’m in the process of making one of these now. I appreciate the detailed video! Do the brass eyelets scratch the stock over time? I’m trying to preserve a walnut stock on my 45-70 and would hate to do more harm than good. Thanks!

Question for doing cartridge loops - I am using Tandy dye and then resolene sealant. I have found if I leave cartridges in the cartridge loops in a rifle buttstock wrap, where the leather is touching the cartridges turns green - any suggestions for making this not happen?

I'm thinking about doing something like this for my 30-30 what size eyelets are those?

What thickness of leather do you use? 7oz?
