I wanted to add my skincare routine bc a lot of ppl asked so here it is ( my skin type is dry and somewhat dehydrated and I am very acne prone and I used to have a lot of cystic pimples and post inflammatory acne marks) My AM routine: - use a cotton pad and micellar water to get any dust or dirt off - wash my face with Vanicream gentle cleanser - on damp skin apply hyaluronic acid by Good Molecules then go in with COSRX snail mucin essence ( if u have a dust allergy i wld be careful using this since it cld trigger it) - I wait about 5-10 mins for it to fully absorb -then i apply 1% clindamycin phosphate gel ( it is a prescription topical ) - i then wait 5 mins for that absorb into my skin and apply vanicream moisturizing lotion and on top of that apply vanicream moisturizing cream PM ROUTINE: - if I wear makeup or just feel like my face is dirty I usually go in with a cleansing balm or oil ( I like the Juno and co cleansing balm and the sofmyo speedy cleaner) - then i go over that with micellar water - after I wash my face with the vanicream cleanser - on damp skin apply hyaluronic acid by Good Molecules then go in with COSRX snail mucin essence -wait till fully absorbed - then go in with my 0.01% tretinoin ( plz do a lot of research about tretinoin if ur interested) tret was the main thing that has helped my skin tremendously - i wait 20-30 mins for the tret to absorb my skin - then go in with vanicream moisturizing cream and lotion ⚠️⚠️- not everyone’s skin is the same so what works for me may not work for u

Omg we have a similar routine and we started tret kinda at the same time 😭 I can relate and if anyone is suffering with really bad acne please get tret !!! It’s the best !!! Make you sure have a good moisturizer bc it can cause peeling or itchiness . Also it does cause purging but it’s only lasts for 4 weeks. For me it lasted 2 months, but that’s different for everyone.

Thank u for compliments ab my skin. I am constantly battling with it. Like when it was rlly bad I was the most insecure I ever felt in my life. My skin isn’t flawless tho sometimes I have dry patches and tiny pimples. I struggle w texture and fading my acne scars.The camera rlly doesn’t show my true skin. I appreciate comments ab my skin tho but just know it’s not perfect

I realized as I got older my skin got better over time. Sometimes people rush to always be perfect instead understanding that thru time and with decent products your body will naturally make itself more beautiful, everyone has their own pace of growth ofc

Hi I’m currently struggling with embracing my natural face as well, something I have been doing to embrace it is by only wearing makeup when I feel like it and not because I feel like I have to. It has been especially hard going to school without makeup but I just remind myself that there’s nothing wrong with a natural face :)
