I think you could depot that elf lip balm that you don't like the container of into that bars twist up ! You just have to melt it , put it in the new container and put it in the fridge ! Normally it works :)

Using those spoolie brushes to scrape off the hardpan works for me. It can get annoying if the hard pan happens after every use, so you can even consider converting it into a loose bronzer/blush and use it that way.

I have so many makeup chores on my list, but I have been putting them off for a while. I have a question for you - have you ever repressed a powder blush that is too hard to pick up much on the brush? Did it help? I think I am going to attempt it today, I will keep you updated.

Update: it did not repress well. I ended up having to throw it away, because the powder clumped up, but wouldn't press into a solid shape nicely. Now I know better, I guess.

somehow it's easier to get all the chores done at once! and oof i'm sorry to hear that :( i don't have any blushes like that but I don't have a bronzer in that situation and I have noooo idea how to fix it :/

I had the NARS lipbalms but in two pink shades, and I also loved the packaging as it is such a good handbag size. So I made some DIY lipbalms to refill them (Vaseline + cheap lip balm + some liquid lipstick for colour). It was a messy process, too messy for me to bother with again but fun to do once and get a bit more life out of the packaging.

@@laralikesmascara I completely understand. I made a bit of mess getting it all in a bowl and so at that point I had to clean up anyway, so just went for it! My main advice is (as someone else mentioned in the comments) to put it in the fridge after. I got impatient with one of the tubes and didn’t let it set fully and I ended up going through it quicker because it wasn’t as stable a formula as the one I let set properly. Would love watching it if you decided to do it!

Loved it, perfect for washing my brushes 🤩

If it doesn’t have a hole in the bottom than you can refill it. To clean up the remaining lip balm use a blow drier to melt the product and clean it out using a paper towel. The easiest way for me has been to melt the product you want to use into it’s liquid state using a blow drier or heat gun and pouring it into the container than put it in the fridge or freezer until it set. The setting part is the most important part so i would wait over night or put it in the freezer for a long time.

Lipstick doesn’t need repressing u could use a brush

For the liner you could use a knife to sharpen it, you can get a pretty sharp point by using that. Just be very careful and cut it away from you and not towards you! Great video! :D

@@laralikesmascara yes something like that 😂 if not then just use what is left that you can sharpen with the knife since usually it’s super hard to sharpen a tiny lip liner since it doesn’t twist in the sharpner, so a knife is easier. 😊 I don’t know, just having some random ideas to get the most out of a product one likes 😅
