If you're having trouble with the content awareness part, try using the blur tool to blur out the entire background image because content awareness won't work if it can't easily tell the background apart from the foreground

Hi peter, awsome tips as always! Last time i've tried the cinemagraph and i've really enjoyed it, this new effect seems amazing! Thanks a lot for sharing all of that with us, stuff like that is really inspiring Thanks to all the creators around youtube, i've found the courage to start my own journey. I have just started a new KZread CHANNEL to share with ADVENTURERS, travelers, creators, FILMMAKERS. Come to check it, I just want to share the great things we could live if we just give it a try! And thank you again for all you give to us!

I love this tutorial and wanted to try this as soon as I finished watching it, but.... "Command + click to load the selection" does not work. Is there another way of getting the selection back? Because it disappears as soon as you paste it to the new layer.

I really stumped on a part to this. I can't seem to get rid of the path line (the flashy white and black line), which prevents me from cleaning up the image. I've tried clicking off the layer and even deleting the path but it still remains. Any suggestions? It's driving me nuts!

Hey , I'm trying to learn this effect and I'm stuck trying to pull up the Fill > Content- Aware. when I command click my 2 layer and hit Shift Delete that menu isn't popping up. is there another way I can tell the PS to fill the content aware through another menu or something ???

  • @runtime_engineer

You can: Edit > Fill > Content-Aware. Make sure you have a selection selected, otherwise Content-Aware option won't be clickable. Shortcut: Shift + F5 = open's up Fill box.

I couldn't find any type of solution for this, I had the same problem.., but I did kínda solve it by doing this: After I made my selection and pasted it on a different layer I deleted it from the first layer (the background) then I selected the deleted selection and when I did that I had the option to select content aware.
