These are great but that being said if your cat is raising his behind higher up to pee you might need to have his kidneys and bladder checked for UTI as sometimes they have this issue an it stings and burns when they pee causing them to raise their behind up higher and that does not need to go unchecked just saying. But I do love these boxes that you made.❤

I would have instead made the entrance a large hole at one end. With the square cut I still see the cat possibly facing the wall and peeing outside the square cut.

My outside Cat Got Injured and has a bad Recovering arm, i made the same before seeing the video and i was thinking i was the only one lol, so i made two holes on mine, one like the one you made and the other at the end because he has a bad arm, he kept rubbing it on his poo and kept having to clean him and floor mats/ floor, etc when i only had a hole on the side when i first cut it, so with two hole he can back up and safely cover his poop with litter without him getting covered in poop, Really Recommend it and it holds a good amount of Poop, i only recommend two holes for injured and claustrophobic cats as the box keeps the smell down and the more its open the more smells can get out, but its not too bad if you know how to manage your box, Props for the Video!!

Ughh, I can relate. One of my boys aims for the ceiling! Haha

i beat scooping might be bit awkward due to the grooves on the bottom.

A bit, yes. Those corners where the wheels are on the bottom are a pain to scoop. They'll pee in those corners and sometimes you can't get it in one scoop ya gotta dig around it a little.

Not good when trying to scoop! I made a couple of these in the past and because of the shape of the bottom of the box it was hard to get the urine out. If you can find one that is flat on the bottom and corners then that is best

Great, thanks for asking! I probably could’ve went with a smaller box. They’re so big when it comes time to change out the litter and clean them it can be a little awkward. But my one cat hasn’t been able to pee over the side yet! Haha 👌

Why cut the top it looks better with no one seeing in the cats have privacy as well

Very true, you could do that if you want to. It would be easier too. Thing is some of our cats at the filming of this video were 17 years old and always used open litter boxes so we thought they'd be freaked out haha.
