Today, I’m going to show you how to make easy Starbucks copycat refreshers at home! While I love Starbucks drinks, they’re typically loaded with sugar. I love using LMNT’s electrolytes for mine because they have zero sugar, zero carbs and are full of electrolytes and minerals.

Where did you get your shaker glass and lid from? I love Strawberry Refresher but not able to have since 2022 because of the sugar. I will love to make it!
Bartender's tip: If you don't have a shaker, just use 2 glasses and pour the drink back and forth a few times.

My 3-year-old grandson and I pureed a mango, raspberries, and strawberries yesterday and spooned them into ice cube trays. I'm going to make my own LMNT since I can't afford the real stuff. Lol. Even got a shaker bottle from Dollar Tree! Ready for some "poor Gramma" refreshers! 😂

@@sasharudgene689 I have tiny ziplock baggies I buy at craft stores. To each bag I add an envelope of either Tru Lemon, Tru Lime, or Tru Grapefruit, 1/4 teaspoon Nu Salt, 1/4 teaspoon magnesium malate, and 1/4 teaspoon pink Malaysian salt. I put this in a 16 oz water bottle with a squirt of Crystal Light blueberry raspberry flavor drops. I also add a splash of apple cider vinegar, even though I hate it.

If you are diabetic, this will be too many carbs per drink and may still spike your sugar by 20-30 points. Fruits contain A LOT of sugar/carbs.

@@sheilamarcial6152 This won't necessarily be too many carbs. There isn't a lot of fruit that goes into these drinks to begin with, and there's nothing saying you can't skip the additional fruit after the initial muddle. Also, you can make half the amount and load up on ice and sweetener. There will be carbs of course, but she did say it was low carb, not no carb. And as long as you keep your carbs at a sensible level, you're fine.

@@shavonwalker2550I agree. I’m a type 1 diabetic and if I ate no carbs I’d be having low blood sugar too much. Granted type 1 and type 2 are very different but our cells need healthy sugars, fats and some carbs. ❤
When I saw that Starbucks and Dunkin came out with refreshers I was excited till I looked up the macros and I knew I’d never bother trying them, NOW I can, thank you for this! 🍓🍋🥭🌶

i used to work at starbucks and i found out how incredibly unhealthy all the sweet drinks there are. it is insane!! i’m making my own drinks at home now, staying healthy AND saving money, such a win-win 🎉

@@73cidalia I’m not sure on the refresher drinks but when I place my orders on their app for other drinks it allows me to customize the drinks and I use my own sweetener

@@ASMRyouVEGANyet I'm not a scientist and I'm not going to explain anything to you. Just google it or speak to a registered dietitian about this matter. I don't know what happens to the cells, but if you prefer to eat alot of sugar, go for it. You shouldn't though because it's not good for you.

I make refreshers. I use some Q tonic water in some of the flavors, no hfcs and adds quercetin, and a little carbonation.
My mind is literally blown. I love my Dr. Berg electrolyte powders, and I ALWAYS keep berries in my fridge. This is such a hack code.

His religious beliefs has nothing to do with the success I had losing weight using his products. I'm sure many other products we buy the sellers practice scientology or some other religion the mass may not agree with.

Yeah, like soda can be up to 150 carbs, then maybe some added. Snapped having upper 70s grams at least. You'd be very surprised! I sure was.

Yum! I love LMNT. Their watermelon is my favorite! I squeeze half a lemon and/or lemon slices to about 16oz of water and half a packet of LMNT, top with ice for a watermelon lemonade. So good and refreshing!

And I would probably use coconut water because of the natural electrolyte content when making these. Since I'm pre-diabetic, I have to make more responsible choices when it comes to beverages especially when most of them are loaded down with sugar.

I had my blood drawn yesterday as of minutes ago, and my A1C went up by 0.1 compared to the last time I had my blood test. I need to learn to make these drinks. It’s way less sugar and saves money.

It has a ton of sodium because it's an electrolyte powder, and sodium is the electrolyte that's the most lost when exercising, so it's designed to replenish it for you (this is also why most electrolyte drinks are also high in sodium, except for Prime which has way too much potassium). go for a powdered drink that isn't electrolyte focused and you'll find ones with much less sodium in the flavors you want😊
