Make Your Own Spartan Helmet With EVA Foam Part 1

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

You can make your own Spartan Helmet with EVA foam. With just basic DIY skills any Foamsmith , Cosplay or reenactment enthusiast can make this replica of armour worn by ancient Greek Corinthian warriors. This is a 2 part step by step detailed instruction video, that will take you from the PDF files to the finishing of the helmet. The helmet really has a very authentic metal look. Download the easy to understand PDF instructions with the sizing chart and start your own helmet today. I used 7 mm & 2 mm EVA foam, contact cement, Plasti Dip spray paint, Rub n Buff and some acrylic paints. I also used some tin pie plates to fabricate some very cool inlays for the helmet. You will also need a heat gun, a Dremel or other sanding tool and a box cutter knife. Have fun and happy Foamsmithing.

Hi just confirming for scaling purposes, is your download pattern for a US letter size - that is 8.5in x 11in? if so then I would think your scaling will need to be adjusted for printing on A4 paper. I printed mine at 96% for a 23inch head and the print would make up to 25inches - any comment?
