Also, this is a affordable, "easy" to do costume, that normally would cost at least one hundred to buy online.

I have done various cardboard crafts in the past, and recently watched the Transformers series. I instantly went to KZread to see what I could find and this popped up. I am currently making the Optimus Prime costume. Thanks for the tutorial!

My 8 year old self is screaming with joy. Not to mention my 43 year old is as well. This costume is awesome!!!!

You guys are great on making homemade movies and you guys are all so glad on making costumes

Very impressive work. Did you use anything to reinforce the points where the zip ties connect costume pieces? I built a Mach-5 and found that reinforcing around the holes with duct tape prevents the zip tie from ripping out. Would love to see you guys pull off a classic Lion Voltron. Again, you guys do very impressive and outstanding work Best of all, you didn t have to spend a lot of money to make a really great cosplay.

Hey Costume Squad!!!! I'm currently working on building this AMAZING Optimus Prime for Kokomo-Con 2017. ( Kokomo is in Indiana, small town, but it's still pretty awesome!) I'm having some trouble figuring out exactly how you keep your feet in the legs?? Did you glue shoes down and just put your feet in that way?? Glue socks to the cardboard and make it easier to put them on and keep them on?? Right now I have a hole cut in the front that leads to the "toes," and it keeps it on a little bit, but the back seems to hang down, like it's uneven. Can you help a nerd out here and tell me how you guys did it so I can do it too? :D

Awesome!! This is what my son wants to be for Halloween.

This is exactly what I was looking for as this is what my 12 year old wants. Its helped tremendously! But although the video is 16 minutes and 13 seconds long, I keep rewinding because you don't mention keeping or removing flaps from boxes, reinforcement that might be needled with duct tape, etc. So I've had to redo this box section, that box section, erc. Then I get a little further and your recutting a box opening again! Just frustrating if one is ACTUALLY trying to do this with a limited time frame. But I'll get there. Thanks! Sincerely appreciate the info and awesome video!! It won't be as awesome as yours but it will still be awesome!
