Make Your Chairs New Again for $15 Reupholstering Dining Room Chairs with Vinyl. DIY The upholstery on our dining room chairs were in rough shape due to time and pets, mostly pets. We decided to make try and do it yourself Reupholstering. This was not as hard of a job as we thought it was going to be and the dining room chairs came out great!

Thank you for the tips. My wife and I are about to take on this task. The only thing we might try differently is heating up the material and then pulling on it.

To be honest I like the new cover and it's color way more than the original ones the chairs are beautiful, the heat gun is an awesome idea

You guys did an awesome job, loved how you used the heat gun to make it smooth, can you plese share the link for the fabric? There are so many different kinds with different backings. Yours looks so professional.

Thank you so much for your comment! 😀 We don't have a link to the material, but it was called Value Vinyl and we got it from Walmart. If you go to Timestamp 16:55, we showed the tag and there is a UPC number, that might help. Good Luck.
