I would have been great to have some comparison exemples with a small timer to see how effective new settings can be. What micro are you using ? (like the sound :) )

I disagree with this video, it is NOT a very slow lens like you make it out to be. Maybe you played about with settings you were not suppose to play with messed things up. But then again I have the R6ii and out of the box it works perfectly well.

Well, I don't know what you use your lens for but the fact that this lens is has been slowed down in video mode because its very loud and its macro capabilities also making the lens hunt a lot is well documented, with a quick google search you can find many users complaining about how slow it is for video. I get that it may not affect you, and good for you, but it does affect loads of people.
