No resin needed to make these! It was my first time using alcohol inks inside the ornament, and I am hooked! Make sure to watch to the end to see my huge mistakes (hey, I’m not perfect!).

Acrylic clear paint. Mix in gitter in the clear acrylic. Try that

When I used to do craft shows, those chuck it pieces were some of the most liked, go figure right? I've also learned not all the things I thought were good were well received, who knew? They're all beautiful!

Many paint and varnish sprays have solvents that will reactivate alcohol ink.

What an easy fun project. You could change to colors for the seasons. How much paint vs floetrol and water do you use in your mixture? Thanks for another great idea. So would you use just Mod Podge or the paint/floetrol/water?

Great idea! When I mix my paints with Floetrol, I normally mix 1 part paint to 4 parts Floetrol, and enough water so it flows like warm honey. The water depends on the thickness of the paint, though. A heavy body paint needs more water.

What is the ratio of paint and flotarlo?

1 part paint, 4 parts Floetrol
A straw works better with the compressed air. Please let your ink dry more, they don't dry as fast as you think. When you put the paint in, its muddying up you ink because its still wet. Word of advice, let your ornaments dry completely before hanging on a tree. Experience lol, my paint after a few days was not completely dry and the paint puddled at the bottom. So aggrivating.

It’s not a drop,cloth. This is an old canvas that I’ve used for several different ornament painting projects. It allows me to catch the drips from paint, glues, resin and other things, and hopefully make a cool drip painting.
