I sooooo thank you for doing this!! I have had such frustration with colors.. and this really did the trick for explaining what to do and not to do….I love your tutorials Daniel..!!! Thank you sooo much and have a great day!!!!
It is a pottery tool, like a stylus I often used when doing color slips over bare clay to carb out pictures.
The Elmer's school glue trick in the resin to keep the glitter from sinking is an amazing trick Thank you so much for that
Thanks Daniel! This was great - I'm so addicted to doing this! Up at 5am before work, rushing straight home to do more, feeding the kids lucky charms 3 meals a day.... (kidding about that part) Your videos are so helpful!

Hi Daniel. The tool you are using to make patterns is a Pergamano ball tool. They use it with Vellum parchment work to "puff" out say a leaf or petal. In recent years it has been adopted by other arts to do dotting work with paint etc. Thanks for the AI info

The tool is a dotting pen. Manicurists and mandala artists use them. They come in a range of sizes. Amazon sells many.
Yep, I was shouting "THE WHITE! THE WHITE! THE WHIIIITE!" 😂 Great video, Dan. I'm always amazed at the consistency of your results. I'm still at the 'pot luck' stage of understanding the timings and the science of resin, sinkers, and inks. Your videos really help, thank you!

Thanks Daniel, so informative & very timely for me. I used alcohol inks for the first time 2 days ago & had a few issues. Soooo happy to get your thoughts and experiences with different mediums! I am new to resin but always amazed by it. I always enjoyed crafts but always wanted to make things that sell. I don’t want to make crafts that look like it. If that makes any sense. Lol your videos are amazing because it shows how you teach at all levels my original passion was machine k itting until I found out I had lung cancer. I am a miracle to be cancer free for 1o yrs. But I have had to learn many crafts. This resin art is amazing and I want to learn everything. L

Well im waiting for my 500ml uv resin and we can start this spellcasting arts. You are using normal overtime hardening resin right? If i want same effect with uv resin i guess i need to wait for around an hour for example for paint to really sink? Btw i dl this app. Great stuff!
Well done, as always, Dan. Just when I was getting ready to vomit at the purple and yellow, you turned over that gorgeous amber color. Wow! I am now on a mission to recreate it!!! Thank you!!! 😍

Thanks Michelle 😊 I will make a proper Amber effect very soon 😊😊
The name of the tool you were looking for is a pattern tracing stylus or ball stylus tool. I'm a paper crafter and we use the same tool on our score board for scoring the paper to easily fold and have nice tight folds and corners. Also you've inspired me to step out of my paper craft comfort zone and into the unknown of resin and how awesome it will be if I can learn to make bits and bobs and things for my junk journals and merge the two amazing crafts. Thank you for all the great info and inspiration ❤
I find that the needle nose tips often fit on the top of the regular resin botttles once you've carefully taken the original top off.

I love the purple and yellow one. It looks like tortoise shell color.
Pretty translucent billiard balls and bowling balls would be excellent but customized products.
I thought the tool would be some kind of embossing tool to indent on vellum and thin card. Thanks for breaking down the mind field of alcohol inks and sinkers, appreciate your time.

Your working instrument with the dot end , is normal for dotting on stones
So helpful! I been doing resin for 4-5 years now n I made some beautiful n unique items I haven't seen online yet but this was really helpful because I have many sinkers n thought they work the same. I didn't realize different ones make different effects actually. I ran out of my first one n bought pinatas because you can refill n I didn't wanna keep running out. So many people stood by it but Its not my fav because it can skip color n you get pastel or white petri look too depending what inks. I have many tim holts n several fade without the sun actually. I don't know if some people get paid but I'm not a fan. I do love let's resin just started they're resin but had many inks. Thnx for the honesty because I probably would have saved so much money if I seen this sooner. Thank you so much!

Great info! 🙂🙂Thank you for explaining why some pinks have that weird muddy color (I never even gave it a thought that they would have yellow to brighten them!), I’ve noticed it in some “brighter” purples as well and it’s been driving me crazy trying to figure why they looked gross before they even hit another color!

It is a stylus. I used it for embossing for scrapbooking and making cards. Now I use it for my nail art. You can get them with various size of ball at each end
It is called a stylus or dotting tool for use on your nails. Love your videos. Thanks!

Something that might be helpful is a color wheel. Especially one with hues and tones. I know there are physical ones, not sure if digital. Probably. Magenta is red with some black. Love that flame effect. 🔥
