The falling Neverbloom-style rose petals were such an elegant touch. Communicates exactly what it needs to without overstating. This band is so next level

Killing myself to this song.

After following the whole metalcore scene from 18 to now 34…I can say MTS is the one that always stood out from the crowded scene that’s been done over and over again. There’s so much sadness and bleakness in a lot of the lyrical content, but it just hits so hard and uncomfortably relatable. I feel bad for people who here anything remotely aggressive sounding and miss out on a whole ass experience that actually hits. I’ve always thought the best music comes from a place of pain and torment, which sucks, but at the end of the day it’s the relatability that resonates and hits hard with listeners.

Yeah, but there are tons of bands that didn't last even though they sounded (objectively) better than most other bands. Like: This or the Apocalypse -or- Carcer City Those bands had nuance too, it wasn't all just doom and gloom. That's the biggest thing that holds emo/screamo/metalcore back: the overwhelming amount of bands that just whine about how hard life is or how sh*tty people can be.

Finally something in life that doesn't disappoint me

If you haven't already, just listen to all their tracks... their debut album, Neverbloom, is amazing. They work a lot of mythological type themes into their tracks, often. Plus... imo, Sean Harmonis is the best male vocalist in the genre... maybe the world?

Unpopular opinion: Metalcore gets heavier if you incorporate melody and harmony

This is one of those songs I don't normally play on repeat but I always find myself coming back to.. the message, the deliverance and everything is just melodically bangin imo. Keep making some good music!!
