have you tried painters tape? it doesn't leave a residue on your material, less sticky, and in transparent enough to see your lines. colors re green and blue. hope this helps.

So do I whenever a saddle stitch isn't vital to the look of the stitch. Round hole stitch projects don't matter. You can do whatever. But if you're using diamond or angle slotted stitching chisels it's harder to get away with not using a saddle stitch.

@@violetrayne7016 I'm not a beginner. But a lot of the things I make are not generally sized for smaller people. I've done a lot of Armour and stuff.. mostly for large folks. And then I have also done a lot of accessory stuff that isn't size dependant. Knife sheaths ad wallets and such. Belts are about the only thing I make a lot of that are easy enough to size lol.

As for the next video...how about some everyday wear armor? Most armor pieces can’t be worn daily, but what if there was one that was? Hey that’s an awesome piece of armor...HOLY S#!& that’s a ______!

Washi tape has less glue. Also consider sticking the masking / painter's tape to a clean piece of fabric (pant leg, sleeve) first to reduce some of the stickiness and avoid glue coming off on your project - learned that from Ali Manning of Vintage Page Designs, a handmade book expert.

I don’t mean do be a poop here, but strongly consider doing the saddle stitch vs. running stitch, kids. You’re getting a superior stitch, learning a new skill, and it’s exhilarating to cinch a stitch down when tensioning both needles before starting next stitch. Nice, nice bag!
