I can understand, that you are a little in the fence with the binding. I find it a bit distracting and would prefer the placemats themselfes should be the star. Your fabric choices and your beautiful panel are georgous! Really nicely done.

These birds are beautiful! I love the colours you picked for each. I think you would have had even more contrast if you had left a bit of teh black edging around the bird images. Overall beautiful 😻
