This video is designed with beginners in mind: I will teach you how to make a personalized water bottle label with Oracle 651 vinyl using the Cricut Maker. I'll take you step-by-step through the process of making a cut-out style label using Cricut Design Space using the SPLICE TOOL. Then, I'll show you how to apply the decal label to the bottle. I made mine with a Batman logo, but you can use any solid shape. You'll only require one colour of vinyl since the letters are cut out of the main shape. #craftcoreDIY
CARE INSTRUCTIONS:
Handwash, do not soak; do not use for 24-48 hours to allow the vinyl glue to cure.

how long will this last and in what ways can it be washed?
Have you had any problems with vinyl peeling on your contigo? I have the 24 ounce and a few places have peeled

Sorry for my delayed response! Did you wait 24-48 hours before using the bottle? You'll want to make sure it's really adhered before using. I've been using the specific cups made in this video for my son since Jan 2020 and besides one of the little triangles peeling inside one of the A's mine have held up well.
To get an image that is not on circut, do you have to make it in Photoshop and then upload it Circut to print it out?

That's what I do! I create an image with a transparent background them import. If it's a multi-layered design, I save each layer as an individual image and import them separately. If I need to resize a multi-layered set of images, I always resize all layers at once after importing so that they stay in scale with each other. (Sorry for the ramble-y reply, haha)
Dishwasher safe?

They should be hand washed to prevent peeling (and not soaked). However, that being said... I've put these specific water bottles into my dishwasher several times a week since I made this video in January 2020 because IMO, life's too short to hand wash every dish and if it peeled/flaked, I could reapply a new decal easily. They've stayed on just fine , except for a little triangle in one of the A's. If you were selling or gifting the item, I'd tell them to hand wash it. I also didn't use or wash the cups after applying the decal for over 48 hours to make sure the decal is really stuck on. Hope that helps!
