I am enjoying this new format of both your and Misti's personal studio videos. I feel the calmness as you sew and also feel like we're just sitting here visiting as we sew. Great job.

I just love how you make errors exactly as we all do - drawing on the right side of the background fabric. Really enjoy watching your tutorials - you are such a darling!

Thank you for doing this tutorial. I've had this pattern for several months and have hesitated to start. I was overwhelmed by the amount of triangles involved but you make it seem like it's no big deal, and it's too easy. You are a national treasure.

I'm in the process of making this quilt now. It's amazing how easily Jenny trims those triangles all while sitting down. I'm in awe!. I have a time keeping the trimmer from slipping.

I just want to say that I agree with you, Jenny. The little MSQC 2-1/2" x 8" ruler is so useful - I've had mine for a long time and it's definitely the ruler I use the most.

This is the most beautiful version of this quilt that I've seen! I bought a Kaffe Fassett "Equator" jelly roll and a collection of fat quarters. Can't wait to make this!

Trying to keep to my resolution to not get any new fabric until I have finished 1 quilt. But this pattern is really tempting me. So cute!

I LOVE this pattern for a quilt. I made a similar one out of VELVET it was a nightmare but nowhere did it say no velvet. Then as that turned out eventually I then made a complete quilt using velvet!!! I did not learn my lesson first time.

I was wowed by this video and just started my quilt this week. I'm also using Kaffe but in a few more added colors since I don't think I would use the red pink only as much. I kept the white background... mine is solid since I wanted to use what I had on hand :):) thanks for the inspiration 🙏 ❤️

Nearly finished with my "Exploding Heart" quilt and wish I had had Jenny's tutorial before starting! Love this pattern.

I made the exploding heart in teals and added 5 inches all the way around. I used extra b-f blocks scattered in the expansion. I might make it again someday!

@@yolandahale3140 well bummer!!! I should have purchased it 3 days ago! Guess I’ll just have to purchase the fabrics myself. I’m,off to Lancaster, PA in 3 weeks for the free Lancaster Quilt Show at the DoubleTree so maybe I can find a nice big FQ pack to get started. I’ll try to remember to take the name of this collection of fabrics with me I. Hopes I can find enough fabrics to step outside if my box 📦!!!!

after reading all comments i have to agree that i love your new format and misty's new format. i have been able to build a new home and now want to rebuild my sewing studio. i would really appreciate a reply on where to find sewing machine cabinet like yours. I need help! yours is amazing and perfect for what i want in my sewing world!!! thank you!! i have only quilted for 2 1/2 years and i have learned almost everything i know from Jenny's videos. This was a fun video to watch. In fact, I love going back through the history and rewatching many. I always seem to come away with some new or refreshed tidbit. Thank you. I've been searching for a way to make my sewing area more comfortable since buying a Bernina 740 last year. It's a big machine and needs something different than a table top. I stopped and started this video multiple times to dissect the cabinet you're sewing machine is in. Can you let me know what it is?

Hi Jenny, it has been a while for me, very happy to see you again, beautiful as ever making another gorgeous quilt as only the Queen of quilting can. Notice your weight loss, Hope it was a choice and not a necessity. I started on a Keto lifestyle a year ago and do feel better without excessive weight, glad I decided to explore other ways of nourishment. Have a catch-up to do on your videos, I can't wait. I have the Bluebird fat quarter bundle that I want to make a quilt for my daughter's best friend's wedding, and I think she will love this pattern, so thank you! With the blues and creams of the Bluebird fabrics, what color do you suggest for the background? I'm terrible at picking colors that go together.

I like your studio. However I miss your over head shots and over the shoulder sewing shots.

I would have liked to see how you put the rows together. I enjoyed making the blocks, but putting them together was such a pain that I quit 1/2 way thru.

What part does everyone find the most tedious part of making block quilts? For me it is the cutting out of the fabric. Once cut & organised I love it. If I could pay someone to cut them out for me I would. I made a pixelated Legend of Zelda Link character quilt & I had to cut over 600 little squares, thankfully no HST or QST just loads of tiny squares.As Jenny does I sewed rows then sewed rows to get her but took me MONTHS to cut the squares out.

I was hoping to see how the outside of the heart was done. Wasvit strip pieced?
