Even the simpler jobs look great.
One of the really neat things about Brazilian Cherry, it darkens beautifully with sunlight. Great job on the screen project. Nice channel, please keep up your good work. 😃

Thanks! I didn’t know that, but that is a plus 👍
Very satisfying when the final screws are driven and everything pulls in straight and square. Very well done build!
It looks amazing!!! It's definitely something pleasant to look at instead of the white box sticking through the window. Thank you for sharing this project, Mr Jon. I always look forward to your videos because i learn a lot with you. God bless you.
Nice job Jon, Slab is ready for that future mini split. Thanks for Sharing...
So simple, yet so elegant.

nice work....always learn something
Jon, really like the format of this video and the project itself. The screen is beautiful and will also help keep the A/C unit cooler too.
Fairly straight forward build. Design looks great.

Big fan of your work, Jon. I like these simple videos for easy builds like this, but I especially like them because you summarize everything at the end. You even answered my questions on what wood species that was and what the PVC things you used on the feet were. That being said I also really like your instructional videos for more complicated builds like furniture so I think you have 2 nice formats to choose from when you're producing your content.

Thanks Peter! I appreciate your feedback 👍
Jon, these kinds of projects - blending a mix of skills & materials - are some of my favorites. They reflect what life is generally like around the home. Lack of moderation plus follow-up Q&A seemed to work especially well for this straightforward project, I thought. And of course, there's a bit of the aesthetic folded in as well - always your signature.

Thanks Jack! I appreciate your feedback👍
The cover/screen you made here look really nice. When you said the wood was hard and dense, you were not kidding. I wondered why it was smoking when you pre drilled the holes. Azeck for the domes,... Good use for something you already have.

Thanks! Appreciate it… definitely one of those long overdue improvements.
This is fine, but I really do miss your commentary throughout the video with this style. It's so much more useful. I don't watch to look at someone working. And you learn and pick up on much more if you point it out and talk about what and why you're doing something.

Great looking project, Jon~! I agree with your choice to go with the slab. Very nice. My AC units are behind a hedge, so they're good, but I do need to fashion a similar type structure to hide my garbage cans. Thanks for sharing~!

The air conditioner always seems to be falling in the angled position. covering it that way is a very good improvement.
Have you ever used something like Thompson's Water Seal on an outdoor wood project - and if so any comments on pros and cons? Thanks.

I haven’t, but I’ve never heard good things about Thompson’s water sealer.

@@JonPetersArtHome Thanks. I'm ignorant in the world of outdoor finishes. I put some Thompson's on a cedar raised planter I made for my wife - simply because I recognized the name - we'll see how it does.
I think you do well, with either format, sometimes talking is "needed" sometimes it's not, like todays video.

Hey Jon, why not just mount it to the brick with no legs? Aesthetic choice?

The legs help with support and I like the look of them
OK Jon....Love the video. For sure. Time for a newer AC unit....Come on, man. You can do it. Just stop buying eBikes. :) Thumbs up. Peace!!!!
