@@zzlove2289 Most places are super cheap. I paid maybe $3 for mine at Ace Hardware. Just make sure they aren't fakes. Google how to test your glasses. Quick test and you're good. Best wishes!

Wow. I remember this eclipse because I live in KC and it was happening when I worked in a parking garage at the time and I had a chance to see it. This year I'll make a pinhole lens box to see it.

Yup. In Toronto. There are no stores that sell the Glasses. U have to order it online or u have to go to the local science center.

Thanks, Wes! Didn't find solar glasses before they were sold out everywhere. It took me about 5 min to make the viewer--took me back to elementary science projects.

Lakeland, FL.....80% here. I tested this cereal box method and it worked for the sun now at 9:17 am. Crossing my fingers it will work for the eclipse this afternoon.

That sucks. But it's so that in case some idiot looks directly into the sun and goes blind, the school won't be sued.

the point is, to not look directly at the sun - not ever, but ppl tend to want to look during an eclipse. the shadow of the sun is perfectly safe- again, the shadow of the sun is perfectly safe! turn your back to the sun, and use this cereal box method or a show box or whatever works best for you!! ENJOY!!
