Absolutely one of the most beautiful resin pieces I’ve ever seen! So gorgeous and really inspirational too. I think you’ve done a fantastic job with the crafting as well as the tutorial. You’ve clearly but concisely conveyed your process and the environmental factors as they affected the work required, which is so, so important to consider! The only thing you could do to top that would be to provide the exact ambient temperatures, your approximate elevation, the month/season, relative humidity, and ambient barmetric pressure at every step as well as the temp of the resin at time of mixing (and at pour time for those of us too curious for our own good ,,,^ .,. ^ ,,,). You’ve already gone above and beyond by thoroughly vlogging this tutorial and divulging your trade SECRETS!! 😁AND you’ve gone graciously given a list of what is needed (along with cautioning against using materials that won’t provide a good result) to make a similar creation for anyone else who wants to give it a go. Pointing out your mistakes is quite kind and thoughtful as well, but I think you’re a bit heavy handed with yourself!. You really shouldn’t be so hard on yourself! I hope it doesn’t take a million subscribers for you to see that you’re doing a wonderful job all the way round, and even better TEACHING people how they might do it themselves… and that means you’re INCREASING THE BEAUTY (and the skill!) IN THE WORLD! It’s SO important to really pay attention to the way we talk TO ourselves as well as ABOUT ourselves! It really bears an impact on how we PERCEIVE ourselves as well as how others perceive us.. and when you’re teaching people something, they might learn to also be … just a little… too critical of their own work… I do the same thing… I really have to pay attention to this myself! I think it may just be hardwired into the artist to have that NEED for your work to PRECISELY convey EXACTLY what YOU want it to…. but… we tend to forget that it’s really not so much our OWN opinion about our creation that ultimately matters the MOST (not to say that it’s not important!) .. but the opinion that matters most is the one who absolutely MUST take it home with them either for themselves or to give as a gift to the perfect person! When we create things for someone else, we can’t see with their eyes or feel with their hearts… so.. all we have to really go on IS our own considerations… and if YOU think, “oh, well, it’s not exactly what I wanted it to be, I suppose it’ll DO…”, then why wouldn’t anyone else?! It’s absolutely GORGEOUS! Own that. Don’t short-change yourself!

Absolutely stunning!!! I've seen other artists encase the lights in resin and have always wondered what happens when the lights die. Never in a million years would I have thought to hollow out the pyramid for the lights. Thank you for sharing your ideas and processes. It's been said that a great artist inspires others to create. @@theuncannie1647 A mould is definitely the way to go now that I've found some that were made specifically for this I can see how well it works...HOWEVER, just fyi if ur feeling a bit risky & inpatient...I made my pyramid mould out of that thin, clear plastic that is generally used for packaging (like in some food products, or toy packages, etc etc). I measure how I want the sides n whatnot & cut em out n tape em together..sometimes if the plastic is big enough you can just fold it where one side stops & another begins. I would caution anyone doing this that it can be a pain in the rear! It can stick, if u don't use hot glue it can leak, etc etc. BUT I got to get accustomed to using the materials while minimizing waste. I could make a smaller mould & see what worked & what didn't, etc. Anyways...food for thought. 😁😁😁

I’m so mesmerized by this one. It’s absolutely gorgeous!! I’m just starting out with making Orgonite pyramids I’ve got a question: Did you sand and polish this pyramid? Some channels say you should , so I tried it but ruined a couple of nice projects. Is it necessary to sand and polish them??

I found this tutorial extremely helpful. I discovered that effect of your snow field by accident when putting my extra epoxy in one of the small molds I keep on hand just for that reason.

There are no mistakes, only happy accidents.

It's absolutely beautiful you have great ideas and a lot of patience.

Interesting how the lights are obscured by the resin, I was abit concerned that they could be seen when off, that was a pretty big hollow, but you really can't tell without opening it up, looks great. A whole new world and the shape really complements the design.

I really fell in love with that lamp and decided to give it a try. But I thought about changing the bottom a little- by using felting and self sticking hook and loop tape- just as an idea:)

@@jackiec498 First, it must be Ivory soap! Put a bar in the microwave for about 30 seconds. It fluffs up! I have tried other soaps and they do not work. It’s crazy cool!
