Steve, one of the great things I like about your videos as opposed to others is that when you do make a mistake you also show a quick way to fix or hide it. No project is ever perfect and it's refreshing to see that even someone who's been doing this for a while messes up too. Thanks for all the hard work.

Love the explanation at the end! Drillbits work perfectly fine if they’re thrown in a bag and they work even better when you can find them

Drill bits have an actual cutting edge in FRONT of them.. That's what does the cutting.. They will never get dull by banging themselves side by side... Great video man, as always !!

I honestly thought you were going to stop and make a new box just because of that mistake, so glad you didn't! fixing problems with a smile on your face is so much better than being annoyed at the problem in the first place. Reminds me of the Japanese lamp project ;)

I like how you showed your mistakes. Too many other how-to videos give us the "Here's one I prepared earlier" routine. Often, mistakes are as important to learn from as getting it right every time. Thanks for sharing this!

You know I love this drill bit case. I will build one like it soon to put all my bits in. It will be perfect, down to the walnut inlay on one side, so that I can copy yours. Why? Because I really appreciate someone who is not afraid to show he makes mistakes, and I will honor that the best way I can. When my friends ask me about, I will of course tell them it is a very important feature that a very wise, but approachable master craftsman showed me once.
