During our last stream, I Bob Ross’d my way through painting a stormy sky scene on the backing panel of our faux cathedral window that will feature a large lightning bolt in the sky that's supposed to hit a foam miniature of Frankenstein's castle anytime there's real lightning outside.
Since this castle has to fit inside a relatively shallow window frame we'll only be building the front facade out of foam core board. This is a lot different than building full structures and terrain for table-top gaming because we're not building all 4 walls. We'll have to figure out how to angle the walls to give the castle the right perspective and fill in walls that aren't visible in the movie version of the castle.
In these livestream highlights, we get started on building the foam miniature castle by transferring my paper template onto a piece of foam core board that I got at the dollar store. Then we add texture and details to the main facade pieces like stone patterns and windows that we can later light up from the inside.
