Thanks for the video. Is there a setting in GS Pro to get the camera view to not chase the ball? Like you have set up on he Foresight app?

In the settings you can adjust the delay for it to start following the ball but I don’t think you can turn it off completely.

This is really helpful, had been leaning towards the GC3 because of the accuracy/spin issues but the Eye Mini now looks super impressive with the firmware update. Think I'm going to save myself the couple thousand and get the Eye Mini now!

I’ve recently purchased a launch pro, sent it back and gotten a new one. Trackman has my club path out to in and launch pro has me hitting in to out. This is the same outside when I can see pull cuts but launch pro says push cuts. Do you think I’ll have the same issue with an Eye Mini because of the way it’s measuring?

I get asked about this a lot. Trackman and foresight measure club path at different points in the swing. Foresight at first contact with the ball and trackman at the point of maximum compression. Since foresight takes the measurement earlier the club is still traveling more in to out. From my experience it's about 2 degrees different than trackman so rather than aiming for 0* to 2* I go for more of 2* to 4* in to out on foresight. I think foresight is as good as it gets for club data measurements but the club path definition can be misleading when comparing against others that do it differently. Hope that helps.

Good review. Interference shouldn't be a huge issue with optical based device. The Eye Mini seems to be fine now. It's about time!

Thank you! I appreciate that. I haven't done any putting yet but I will try it out today. The putting ball speed with Eye Mini was WAY faster than the GCQuad so I wonder if the ball speed is a little slower now.

Thank you for the video, was waiting for yours to drop after update was announced by Joe. Genuinely confused why would you use eye mini when you have a quad. Some of those spin differences were alarming. Accuracy is king, no?

Oddly there were maybe two with the wedge that were about double the quad but I thought the rest were very close. I only have multiple launch monitors to review for this channel so I try to use them all. I definitely use the quad for my own personal practice but the eye mini with swing optix cameras is so great for swing video that I do that a lot too.

What the dimensions of your hitting space? Particularly interested in the space behind you in relation to the wall behind you.

I have 12ft of width (wall to wall) and my hitting strip is offset about 20" from center. I have 11.5ft from ball to screen. Ceiling is just over 10ft.

Fixing this issue on the eye mini, does it fix it on the eye mini lite as well (assuming the issue existed on both)?

I’m not sure if it affected the Lite at all and I believe the two use different firmware. So if the Lite did have issues I would assume it will be updated soon too. Just seeing Uneekor address it is great news.

The Eye Mini seems to consistently read 3-5 mph faster ballspeed than the quad. Is it really that inaccurate or is that being caused by IR interference?

I typically see it a little faster than I'm used to with the Quad even when using it alone.

I wish they added face to path😪
