His brother had to know how that would come across and so did the editor and this could’ve been edited out. I don’t know if you realize it, but most of the conclusions are drawn after the podcast when his brother Jason leaves stuff in and he seems to ask questions that he knows the answer to when he says something about oh, you read 40 pages to all those people, you read 40 pages to all those people at SNL we all know what he was hitting and it was totally uncalled for

@@PerezHilton It was on his 11-24-2023 podcast he talked about it. So, reading and processing takes a lot longer. He also illuded to it when he was on Saturday Night Live, and how hard it was to memorize scripts quickly. His spelling wasn't the best either. He jokes about it, but I bet he was teased a lot growing up. He was embarrassed by his old tweets. He has worked to improve and did graduate college. But, reading the great novels would not be something he would enjoy because of it. He acknowledged that Taylor was brilliant in his interview in WSJ, and that he learns from her every day. People have different skill sets.

With respect to Travis's intellect, 1. he may not be book smart, but he has something. 2. Taylor has only a high school education (her honorary doctorate is not real), while Travis has finished a university degree (admittedly, on a football scholarship over a stretch of time). 3. Taylor may write that she "knows Aristotle," but people who hold actual, real PhDs in philosophy and literature are quite aware that she does not "know" Aristotle. And her lyrics, often quite clever and catchy, are also rife with mixed and unsustained metaphors, dull prosaicism (at times), and cliches. I don't mean to diminish her obvious talent with words but rather to highlight that it is an uneducated talent. There are brilliant lyricists way out of her league. Taylor's talent is in her ability to capture the experiences of young girls and others who are focused on relationships. She captures those feelings in her sometimes prosaic but often clever lyrics. She applies catchy melodic hooks (except not in TTPD, other than Down Bad), and she (or her parents and team) are brilliant if greedy marketers. They are both missing something, sure, but are both at the top of their respective fields and cruising at 120 down the middle of middle class popular culture street. I think they're well matched.

Travis is smart to because he's capitalizing on the relationship. Hes meeting and socializing with people he would had never before met. I wouldn't put any stock in keeping him, because it will get tiring. Shes having fun and he's having fun. It just reminds me of jlo and ben. I don't think that is why he is with her though. He has had a crush on her for years. He is clearly in love with her. I truly don't believe he is using her. He has his own wealth, he has his own career, he knows what he wants to pursue once his football days are over. He was a party guy but his brother took him in during college and settled him down. He has a great sense of humor. He is very likeable. Some couples you can see are well matched and I really think these two are well matched. Taylor just lights up when she sees him. We have never known any of her boyfriends as much as we do Travis and that is because Taylor doesn't feel like she has to hide him as she has former boyfriends. They are at the perfect age to be enjoying life and planning a future together...whatever that looks like to them. His popularity catapulted from the Chiefs first. Being with Taylor took it to a whole other level, but again, I don't feel that any motive for him. Taylor has had a lot of heartbreak so for her to be so bright eyed and smiling when with him says a lot.

He was joking! He is really quick and funny on the podcast with his brother.Once again,Taylor can quote Shakespeare and read Kafka with Jack or call Lena Dunham for long intellectual conversations. Travis plays football, Alice in Wonderland,before Depp was probably never brought up. He also was probably kicking his brother watching it on TV.

I have been listening before Taylor Swift was in the picture, I support Jason Kelce and the Philadelphia Eagles and so much money donated to Autism, cancer and food insecurity. She doesn't have to land Travis. He is the one who pursued her. He has had a crush on her for years. He was clever enough to put his phone number on a bead bracelet in hopes it would get to her. It didn't right away and he was so disappointed. Somehow after a bit of time it did get to her and the rest is history. He is very smart in planning out his life business wise. His brother is his best friend and Jason won't let Travis mess this up. Jason saw Taylor in London for the first time and he was in awe at how personable and friendly she is. Jason will keep Travis grounded.

I hope you are wrong about Trav. I want them to be happy and in love forever

I don’t think he’s that dumb or he wouldn’t be where he is in the NFL. Or act as well as he did on SNL. You need critical thinking skills to excel as he does. I also think he may have ADHD which is not a reflection of lack of intelligence and would mean not picking up on details that aren’t of interest to him (if he wasn’t poking fun at himself with the Alison comment). His parents said they were both full of energy and that was part of the reason for keeping them busy with sports.

Have you ever seen a fb/NFL playbook? They are THICK & like reading a foreign language. He was a QB til junior yr in college & now a TE. Both require a high level of intelligence. Most know this about QB's but, not so much about TE's. They have to be well-versed with both OF & DE playbooks. How to read plays on the field in real time & know &/or predict how a play will pan out or poss evolve. He's arguably the best TE of all time. Also, a future first pick hall of fame TE. You don't get there w/out quick thinking, excellent spacial awareness, creativity & spot-on intuition. (He also was on the Dean's list in college & has a Bachelors Degree...which is more than I can say for Taylor Swift. (I don't think it matters but, if that's the argument...)
