Nick's life has always had many ups and downs, I've never seen someone be so criticized by his own family as he was, joining Aaron and Mother Jane making many terrible criticisms against the poor guy. Nick is a wonderful person and I wish him all the happiness in the world together with his wife and children, he deserves it.

I love Nick so much and I miss Aaron so much too!

Everyone commenting and talking down on Nick while he's grieving, because he wasn't close to Aaron before his death, have obviously never had a loved one who's an addict. Sometimes, despite the love, care, and worry you have for someone, you have to set up boundaries to protect yourself, your well being, and your family. It's called "detaching with love" At the end of the day, Nick is already beating himself up enough over this.

Nick recently came out saying they always found that place where they could reconcile and now he can’t. I’m sure with evidence Aaron found and publicly apologized to Nick isn’t helping him. His death shattered him. Aaron wanted to talk with him. Anyone would be changed by this.

He was an addict and their mother is a narcissist who created an even bigger wedge between them. She was always in Aarons ear telling him how bad Nick was. Nick could only do so much, he had his own family to take care of.

I feel your pain bro. I also lost my brother to addiction, alcohol in his case. He was only 31 and left this world in august 2020. And unfortunately, just like Aaron, my brother had serious relationship issue toward family, especially our mother and I, what made him go even deeper in his addiction.... We did everything we could to save him, but he couldn't save himself and that's what would've made the difference. Now life goes on but we'll always miss him and keep our good memories together.

Nick came out recently on how he’s still processing loosing Aaron and it’s been extremely hard. The media is part to blame and I hope after everything when things settle down, Nick comes out with something. It was said they were going to make amends and that right there says a lot.

My Heart is still full of sorrow for Aaron until now...But I'm sure He is happy seeing his family doing their efforts and get involved in helping other people specially for those who are having the same circumstances as he had. Your Songs will always be our songs too Aaron...

People talk about how they fought and didn't get along. That doesn't matter. My brother treated me like absolute crap growing up. He would make me black and blue with bruises, hold me down and spit in my face, created horrible nicknames for me at school that would spread like wildfire. He never treated me as a sister. He treated me as a parasite. But I would still break down crying if he died. I still love him and I forgave him a long time ago.

I have 7 brothers and sisters, and not close with any of them. My family dynamic after my parents divorce meant I grew up alone. I’d still break down if any of them died. I hated my mother for the things she put me through, but I still broke down and lost it when she died!

It’s terrible that when someone dies he or she always mentions the good of that person. The fans turned their back on his brother and Nick too.

This is a prime example of tell people you love them while they’re ALIVE

Hope he told Aaron how much he loved him while he was still here, not just proclaim it in front of an audience.

Why was Aaron starving for Nick’s love and recognition? *Aaron was used as a money making machine as a baby boy by their mother and Aaron trusted Nick more. Yet Nick could not handle the amount of love, dependency that Aaron was needy of it seemed. It was a weight that was too heavy. It was Aaron’s biggest heartbreak, he admitted it himself. The weight of the dysfunctional family was put on his tender shoulders and Aaron said it was too heavy to carry alone on his tender shoulders. It’s difficult for everyone, we cannot reverse time. I bet Nick did his best in his own way, but Nick also overestimated the weight that Aaron could carry. The projecting, Aaron being the lower conscious one who was the outcome of the dysfunction. Aaron was more conscious than he appeared, despite the addiction. The detachment broke even more what was already broken. It is the whole family system that failed in communication. *What added to the mix was that Nick’s wife did not want Aaron near. Nick also did have judgemental tendencies when he was younger. It was a coping mechanism. He did mature more over the years. Nick’s more built to defend and protect his ego. *He and others did not mature yet to admit early enough that he could have fought more for Aaron. I also suspect that they were ill advised too and somehow distancing seemed like the option that created an illusion of safety, sort of a bubble. It might have been good, for a while. Yet it took a little too long and too many things were left unsaid and too much projecting, lack of owning up to certain things by different individuals in this family, remained in their energy field *Aaron was even willing to buy love. Yet it didn’t come and like his closest friend said. His family that shunned him, it broke him, outsiders could love him, yet nothing replaced the feeling. Nick was the brother who he looked up to and Aaron followed him as a baby boy everywhere. *Yet it is also Aaron who had a lack of healthy boundaries. Too soft and not made for this harsh world. Without the correct guidance, it is hard to fight of the demons. We see a lot of souls who cannot balance boundaries in this world, leave earlier. *Actually if everyone was in therapy, including the mother, having the courage to admit each shadow side, then it could have healed better. The shadows or imperfections seemed to be projected on Aaron, Aaron carried his own demons and demons of others who he didn’t know he carried. People did not want to confront it. It was too scary. They didn’t fear Aaron, despite saying Aaron was “so-called”dangerous, they feared facing their own imperfections too. Not just his family, but Aaron later attracted bad energy of bullies as a result of his wounds. So he died prematurely. *This is just a sad story of not “seeing” eachother and connecting on a soul level. R.I.P. Aaron Carter.

The same is true in reverse. Nick fanboys are talking about him as if he were a great brother to Aaron who tried so hard with NO evidence at all. It warms my heart to see all the guys from our boy band days supporting each other today. We're all older now. We've experienced loss. We're tired. We're depressed. The days of pop mean even more now because they represented the last "care-free and fun" culture that will likely ever exist. I used to make fun of boy bands, but man - they were absolutely necessary and I'm thankful for the impact they had/have on our generation.

I really hope he can build a relationship with Mel and Prince. Aaron would of really wanted that.

i had no idea about this fund raiser, just a few days ago i messaged on a forum about nick not caring about aaron and just moving on easily because they had a bad relationship, but it warms my heart to see atleast he cared.
