For those headaches: If you're not normally in the basement, add a fan a half hour before you start. There may be radon gas seeping in. Also, try a different set of headphones. And check at what refresh your monitor uses pulse modulation. Any or all of these things can cause issues for people sensitive to them.

The plots are not specifically an act of war but a way for NATO to play their escalation chips. For each provocation we can move weapons closer, build a weapon factory in Ukraine or any number of things in trade. This way you can't provoke without a cost and through multiple increments we are in a gray area of war but not war. I'm stating this as how I view escalation.

You have to look at motive. If a foreign nation tried to poison the supply it would be part of a much larger campaign and we don't see that. "water distribution point" could be for a house, neighbourhood or whole town. The size of the area matters when judging motive. The fact that it was a failed attempt (I hope) points more to "local" small brain talents with bad tools stealing metals, seldom native.

Russia was expected to use assasins against fighter pilots etc. China adopted the assasins mace tactic. Russia probably have an updated version of the same. They have shown they have the capability and it is probably the only tactic that they could win with, at least defensively.

The main issue is censorship, no real guarantee that it would reach real Russians, or that said Russians haven't already found out the truth. A lot of people in Russia who perpetuate the nation's problems don't use or can't use the internet.

No need for creepy AI, tgere are plenty of opposition Russians who would be happy to translate and dub this. Even i could, but my accent in Russian are not presentable. And that would become a battlefield of trollfarms and rare real Russian who can take the humiliation. The reporting of this war has unfortunately become a preaching to the choir situation, but despite most Russians not believing this (they would have a point about monetization of the war too) it would still be a great demoralisation operation. As Russians have these on an order of magnitude more, demoralisation plots run by "westerners" in the "west", hellbent on self-destruction.

You mean going to war with Russia? I agree, it's the only viable option to stop Russia and hold Kremlin accountable. The closing airspace means direct fighting of the airforces and AD at minimum. Ukraine needs 130-150 Patriot systems to cover it in AD, so far US has delivered 1 (and Europe a few more). Let that sink in. Armed involvement was necessary in 2014, but nobody in charge of "the west" understood that then. Active war operations will cost us, but inaction eventually will cost Europe and by proxy the rest of democratic countries much more if we let Ukraine to be destroyed.

Back in the 1970s, maybe the 1980s, I read a sci-fi futuristic novel in which there was a laser-type weapon on top of a high pole. it was able to take out incoming dangers from very far away.

Around that time there were projects to put laser weapons in Earth orbit, never mind on a high pole. Kind of underwhelming plot, considering US nearly went trough with much more ambitious programm. CO2 lasers were uncapable of the necessary destruction then and the stronger crystal resonance lasers today still cannot shoot down anything but slow-moving targets. We have electronic jamming/interception weapons instead now.

There are lots of mold killers. For cheap, you can dilute vinegar, No mold/fungus can survive vinegar.

In Russia, only one mobilization was carried out, 300,000 people were called up in the autumn-winter of 2022 and that was the end of it.
