This is my favorite sports movie of all time, followed very closely by The Replacements. Major League had it all; talent, comedy, and just good fun. No one actor stole the show in the movie; they all together just worked perfectly as a whole. :)

This and Slapshot are definitely two of my favorites of all time. I just want to watch them over and over.

Dennis was great as Cerrano in both Major League movies, but he was good in Mr. Baseball, too.

This is Dennis heysbert the All State commercial spokesman. Very underrated actor.

The thing I like best about Pedro Cerrano in this film was when he hit that home run to overcome his inability of hitting the curveball in that playoff game against the Yankees.

Tbh it looks like a little league fastball instead of a curveball, i guess the pitcher is an actor who could only throw like 70-80mph thats why it looked like it dropped so much.

I always think when they cast the actor who played Pedro as god in Lucifer they missed a trick with him not saying "Dear old Dad taught Jesus to hit a curveball BUT HE DIDN'T TEACH ME!!!"

I agree Jarod, I've been watching it for many years and it is always totally brilliant !

The thing I like best about him in Major League II was when he hit that three-run homer into the upper deck to give the Indians a 6-5 lead in that seventh game of the ALCS against the White Sox.

What makes Dennis's character even better is that the HR's he hit during the movie were LEGIT

at 3:06 dude fanned his fart with a newspaper lmao!!

marlito166 EXACTLY!!! Unlike "The Babe" where John Goodman's infield "doinks" off the bat went 400-500 feet! Most realistic baseball action ever, and funny/heartwarming to boot. Charlie Sheen was throwing actual heat even in the mid 80's (1 of 100 at best can do that). I won a weekend long contest at 20 (37 now) at a local fair by hiiting 88 with a running start. 82 was my highest from a wind up, and that was probably my all-time high. Cerrano's final HR looked every part of a BOMB.

While it didn't go over the wall, the ball that Dennis Haysbert hits at 4:09 actually did go far enough to be a home run.
