After seeing this (and having been lucky enough to go to one of their games), the Savanna Bananas are not only the finest organization in baseball, they are the finest organization in sports.

We had the chance to see the Bananas in Indianapolis recently. It was incredibly fun and there were some moments that gave me chills. They really demonstrate the purity of baseball and made me appreciate how much I love the game.

You guys are so much fun. I love baseball but add soooo much fun to everything you do. Keep sharing the good times.

Between the Bananas, Eric Sim/Momentum boys, the Bat Bros, Portland Pickles, independent baseball is alive and stronger than ever. Good time to be a fan.

A's?? He played one season there. I get Red Sox, he was a 2x A-Star with them, not to mention a WS Champ, but his one year with the A's, after 6 seasons with the Royals, was one of his worst. He hit only 9 HR, got caught stealing 30% of his attempts. His batting average and OBP were almost 30 points lower than his career average. He basically took the season off.

Man, they came through and were sold out here. So sad I couldn't get tickets. I really hope I get another chance to go to a game.
